As Nancy and Jonathan are escorted out of the lab, Jonathan's car is parked with the driver's side facing toward the entrance, where the MPs are. When they get into the car, the camera angle alternates between looking out the driver's and passenger's windows. When it's showing out Jonathan's (driver's) window, the viewer can see no one outside. When it's showing outside Nancy's (passenger's) window, the viewer can see the MP out the window holding his rifle at the low ready position. With the camera angles outside of the car, no one is seen standing on Nancy's side.
When Max and Lucas begin arguing outside of the school about excluding Max from the group of friends, one shot shows Max's backpack strap twisted over her left shoulder and in the very next shot the strap is straightened out which remains for the rest of the scene.
The newspaper clipping says 'Daughter Jane Taken when she was a baby, Ives claims.' The word Taken should have a lower case T as it is neither a name, nor at the beginning of a sentence.
During the dumpster scene, Max moves away from Lucas, claiming that he stinks. However, the movement of her hair in the breeze reveals that she actually moves downwind of him.
