This video sells sexiness, and you get sexy big time. Still the two ladies are glamorous, and lifts you up with their energy.

"Jennifer Lopez ft Iggy Azalea: Booty" is exactly what the title says. We hear the two singers mentioned in there and this is the music video for the song "Booty". The director is the experienced Hype Williams, a really prolific music video director, and this work by him here runs for slightly over 4 minutes. Oh well, I was never too big on Iggy Azalea, so I am not surprised about how I really did not like this one. But i kinda liked Jennifer Lopez during her early career stages and she is still really amazing looking today for mid-40s. She was 44 or 45 when this came out back in 2014. Her parts in here are also the better ones overall, but they are not only not great either, they also can't make up for the truly embarrassing chorus from Azalea. Depth is obviously also something completely missing from these 250 seconds. You really want to keep your distance here. Don't watch it. Don't listen to it.

This is a music video that delivers everything the title promises. Jennifer Lopez and Iggy Azalea are two curvaceous, beautiful women with big butts and this video celebrates those qualities with all the sexy abandon that the material demands. Outfit-stretching bodies fill the screen in vigorously alternating close-ups and longer shots that exert a hypnotic, sensual energy in every frame. The images are a perfect accompaniment to the music, the lyrics and tonality both. We are talking about a song in praise of callipygian women, a high-energy piece of music that captures the anonymous allure of a shapely female backside, and this video gives a face to that anonymity, a strong, confident, beautiful face. From the opening shot of Azalea's oily buttocks filling up her black-and-white swimsuit to the point of overflowing, Sapphic eroticism is given full reign as these bootylicious beauties twerk and twist their fleshy figures all over each other. High point comes when Iggy slaps Lopez twice on her bare ass, right up close and personal! Perfect music video for butt lovers everywhere.

I always wondered if this was an attempt to capitalise on the success of Nicki Minaj's Anaconda? I don't actually know which came out first.

This video hasn't aged well - I couldn't actually finish. It doesn't help that the song is total garbage.

More interesting and artful things have been done with booties!
