A cute, but not that festive for me Christmas episode! I love this show, but this episode is not my favorite to watch around the holiday time, it's good though!

All we have are moments

Stefan is busy enjoying his last day before he has to serve Cade. He puts up Christmas decorations and mentions how they only have the moments. He is enjoying the present he has - the present. Caroline wakes up to find the bed empty next to her. Caroline goes down to find Stefan with the decor and cooking. She tells him she thought they weren't going through with a party because of the Cade situation but Stefan wants to. Damon shows up at the door and Matt is shocked because Alaric and him killed Damon earlier. Damon and Sybil invite themselves into the party and Damon says Cade's deal made him alive again. Caroline looks amazing in her burgundy dress. Damon kills Stefan temporarily so Stefan can meet Cade. Stefan's memories of him being a murderer on Christmas Eve were wiped by Seline who was working for Cade at the time. She looked into his mind and saw anguish. Cade knew he wanted Stefan since. Seline made him feel life was worth continuing. Stefan wakes up and kisses Caroline under the mistletoe.
