When, in my initial review, I stated that this show is "A light supernatural action Comedy", lots of people (including ...actual Devil worshipers!) argue that this is a serious TV show based on Milton's book "Paradise Lost" and it would be showing the power and the charm of true evil! Well, I hate to disappoint them again but in this 2nd season 1st episode, you get what it was obvious from the beginning...
So! There is a lot of humor in this episode. Most of it is based on the formula where Lucifer keeps telling everyone he meets that he is the Devil and his Daddy issues, but here and there, there was some clever joke that made some difference.
The main story and the connection between Chloe and Luci advances but slowly. Why he gets vulnerable if she is near him, is still a mystery! And there are a few songs and music beats into the mix.
If you watch for what it is (again a "A light supernatural action Comedy") you might actually find yourself enjoying the light humor and the music.
For this episode: 7.5/10
P.S. When I saw Amenadiel and Chloe together at the Lux, couldn't help thinking a joke myself: How do you call Amenadiel and Chloe together? ....Black & Decker !!!
