She is incredibly young. This video is from 2005, with Hilary Duff still just setting out. At her tender age, barely 18, and blessed by nature with that angelic face, there is just nothing about little Hilary that isn't absolutely perfect, her long blonde hair a luscious mane. As for the music video, the blonde against a predominantly white setting creates a very striking look.
I have played this again and again and again, this is just an absolute dream girl, looks like an angel, sounds like an angel.. To the obvious critics who'd say she is a child, nothing more, I would say she shows terrific megastar potential. With hindsight, Hilary hasn't become what I've expected her to become, no. She hasn't lived up to her potential, what a shame. She should have been in a major blockbuster movie, but no. It's not only her loss, but our loss.
