Pre-production started at the end of 2015 after an original ideal that Jupiter de la Bâtardise had in 2013. The working title was "Keep Calm And Queue Here".
Principal photography took place in mid-January 2016 during one week and using a green screen as background. 29 different scenes were recorded with 88 actors participating in them.
Post-production was delayed in 2016 after the original editor was dismissed. The project was on hold until end of 2017 when a new editor and VFX artist joined the team. But deadlines were not met and producer had to replace them and wait for a more suitable time to continue, while busy with some other films.
In January of 2020, fours years after filming took place, Jupiter de la Bâtardise stepped in as editor and VFX artist and pushed "Queue" to completion at the end of May 2020.
