When McGee is recreating the crime scene using his food, we see the dinner plate from his perspective and the fried shrimp is on his right. The camera angle changes so we are looking at McGee from across the table and the shrimp is now next to his left hand. The angle again changes to McGee's perspective and the shrimp is back by his right hand.
