Singer Anne-Marie has reportedly been inspired by her love of musical theatre, and specifically ‘I’d Do Anything’ from ‘Oliver!’, on her new album. The 32-year-old singer is said to have finished work on her upcoming third record – the follow-up to 2012’s ‘Therapy’ – and has seemingly channelled ‘I’d Do Anything’ from the iconic musical ‘Oliver!’ on one of the songs after appearing on the West End when she was younger, reports femalefirst.co.uk.
A source told The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre column: “Anne-Marie has been working really hard on this album for the best part of two years and is super proud of the record.
“Like with ‘Therapy’, lyrically it’s been inspired by her own experiences but the sound has advanced.
“One track is a nod to her musical theatre days and inspired by ‘I’d Do Anything.'”

No monster has struck fear into the hearts of moviegoers quite like the Xenomorph. The titular creature in Ridley Scott's 1979 sci-fi masterpiece "Alien" — as well as the sequels, prequels, spin-offs, video games, comic books, and novels that followed — is a killer beyond compare in science fiction, and today stands as one of the genre's most recognizable antagonists. And while it's fair to say that the franchise has been subject to a few ups and downs over the years, the spine-chilling power of the Xenomorph itself has never been less than total.
How much do you really know about Ellen Ripley's archnemesis, though? Is there more to this horrific beast than what you've seen on screen? Well, yes: Fittingly for a creature designed by a legendary surrealist, the history of the Xenomorph is as strange as the monster is scary. From the earliest concepts to those endless variants to...

With so many streaming services to choose from, it can often be difficult to find the right one to spend your hard-earned dough on. That being said, Hulu has remained among the most exciting and content-heavy platforms alongside Netflix, really cementing itself as one of the most appealing options out there in recent years thanks to its collection of original content and very, very deep library of licensed films.
Like every other streaming service, they bring us new titles every month and July is looking to be quite a good one. Especially if you’re a horror fan. Admittedly, Hulu has always been pretty reliable when it comes to this particular genre, and that’s a reputation they seem intent to keep, as next month will bring us the likes of The Devil’s Rejects, Freddy vs. Jason, Freddy’s Dead: The Final Nightmare, House of 1000 Corpses, The Ninth Gate, The House That Jack Built...

Perhaps the most exciting piece of content coming to Hulu in July 2020 is…a movie? Remember those? You would buy a ticket and then go sit in a dark room with other people eating Buncha Crunch. Sounds wild!
Yes, more and more feature films are turning to streaming services for their summer releases. And with their list of new offerings for July 2020, Hulu got itself a big fish. Palm Springs is a Groundhog Day-style comedy starring Andy Samberg and Cristin Milioti as star-crossed lovers forced to live the same day over and over again. It premieres on Hulu on July 10.
And that’s not the only original movie coming to Hulu in July. Romanian crime thriller The Whistlers premieres on July 2. Sasheer Zamata comedy The Weekend follows on July 15. Then Hulu caps the month off with the Julia Garner-starring The Assistant on July 20. There’s good movie news...

Whoopi Goldberg is set to star alongside Jovan Adepo (When They See Us), Owen Teague (Mrs. Fletcher), Brad William Henke (Orange is the New Black) and Daniel Sunjata (Rescue Me) in The Stand, an adaptation of Stephen King’s novel at CBS All Access. They join previously announced cast members James Marsden, Amber Heard, Odessa Young and Henry Zaga. Goldberg and King made the announcement this morning on ABC’s The View.
Written by Josh Boone and Ben Cavell, The Stand is King’s apocalyptic vision of a world decimated by plague and embroiled in an elemental struggle between good and evil. The fate of mankind rests on the frail shoulders of the 108-year-old Mother Abagail (Goldberg) and a handful of survivors. Their worst nightmares are embodied in a man with a lethal smile and unspeakable powers: Randall Flagg, the Dark Man.

The actor is in serious awards contention for his role in “Black Panther,” but also most recently starred in “Creed II,” “Fahrenheit 451” and “Kin.”
Josh Brolin
We all know Josh Brolin played the villain in both “Deadpool 2” And “Avengers: Infinity War” (which is a feat in itself), but he also starred in “Sicario 2: Day of the Soldado” and “The Legacy of a Whitetail Deer Hunter.”
Tessa Thompson
Thompson seems to have been in every movie this year, and that’s for good reason: She starred in “Annihilation” alongside Natalie Portman, as well as “Sorry to Bother You,” “Little Woods,” “Furlough” and “Creed II.”
Patrick Wilson
Wilson is now just making the rounds as King Orm in James Wan’s “Aquaman,” but the actor also starred in “Insidious: The Last Key,” “”The Commuter,” “The Nun,” “Nightmare Cinema” and he is currently filming the Untitled “Annabelle” film.

Netflix and BBC will team for a Dracula TV miniseries from Sherlock co-creators Steven Moffat and Mark Gatiss.
Dracula will creep his shadow onto the peak television scene soon enough. Plans from the former Doctor Who mastermind, Steven Moffat, and his co-creator on Sherlock, Mark Gatiss, for a new TV version of Bram Stoker's iconic tome, Dracula, are about to come to fruition.

Add “Furlough” to the long list of Tessa Thompson movies hitting the big screen in 2018. The actress already has the acclaimed “Annihilation” in theaters nationwide, and “Furlough” is the second of two indies after “Sorry to Bother You” dropping later this year. The film is directed by “The Secret Life of Marilyn Monroe” filmmaker Laurie Collyer.
Thompson stars as a prison guard who is tasked with bringing a hell-raising inmate (Melissa Leo) home to say goodbye to her dying mother. The two form an unexpected bond as their trip spirals out of control. Anna Paquin, Whoopi Goldberg, and Edgar Ramirez co-star.
“Furlough” is set to be released by IFC Films later this year. Watch the trailer below.

Tessa Thompson and Melissa Leo are two actors we will watch in just about anything. While Thompson is a rising star in Hollywood, with major roles in “Creed” and “Thor: Ragnarok,” Melissa Leo is an Academy Award-winning actress and acting chameleon, turning in great performance, after great performance in films like “Frozen River,” “The Fighter,” and “Prisoners.” Now, these two women are starring in the new dramedy “Furlough,” and if the first trailer is any indication, it looks to be a funny film that will tug at the heartstrings.

"I think it's best if we forget about this weekend..." A trailer has arrived for an indie film titled Furlough, which went under the working title Emergency Furlough while filming, made by director Laurie Collyer (Sherrybaby). The film stars Tessa Thompson as a rookie correctional officer at a prisoner. She spends half of her time caring for her mother, played by Whoopi Goldberg, and working at the prison. She gets a chance to prove her mettle when she's tasked with accompanying a hell-raising inmate, played by Melissa Leo, on an emergency furlough to visit her dying mother, ending up on a hilarious road trip together. The cast includes Anna Paquin, Édgar Ramírez, and La La Anthony. I haven't heard about this film before, but it looks good. It's more of a dramedy than a drama, but seems to have plenty of heart driving the story. Here's the first official trailer for Laurie Collyer's Furlough,...

Thor: Ragnarok actress, Tessa Thompson has been confirmed to star in Lionsgate’s Codeblack Film biopic on the Notorious Jewel Thief Doris Payne.
Thompson will both star in and co-produce the film about the still-living 87-year-old jewel thief. Payne has reportedly committed countless robberies. Payne’s career as an international jewel thief spans six decades, with a criminal record dating back to 1952. Her modus operandi is to enter jewellery stores posing as a well-to-do woman, typically looking for a diamond ring. Using her charm, she would engage the clerk, asking to see an assortment of items. Eventually, she would “cause the clerk to forget” just how many items were outside the case; and, at some point, she would leave with one or two pieces.
