Not to be mistaken for the short-lived TV series Katy Keene, Katie Keene is a talented actress who has been working hard to build a solid career. Although she hasn’t been in any major productions just yet, she’s had a lot of great opportunities that have allowed her to work her way up. At this point in her career, she is best known for her role as Galina in the Rogue Warfare movie franchise. While the movies don’t have the best ratings, they’ve built a solid fan base. Katie hasn’t made any on-screen appearances in 2021, but there’s a good

The range of pricing in VOD play has never been so clear. Two films at the extreme ranges of budget and premium stand out among new releases. At $3.99, which represents rock-bottom for a new film, Dinesh D’Souza’s latest right-wing polemic “Trump Card” is #1 at both Apple TV and Google Play, charts that rank by transaction volume.
At the same time, Disney’s “Mulan” is now available on platforms beyond Disney+ for $29.99, and is #1 at the revenue-based FandangoNow. “Ava” also continues its successful showings, with first place at Spectrum.
“Trump Card” is pitched as an expose of “socialism, corruption, and the deep state,” and clearly aimed at Election Day interest. In his past films (which received theatrical release), D’Souza preferred to specifically demonize Barack Obama or Hillary Clinton. This time, the target is far broader than the tougher-to-hate Joe Biden. It placed #2 at FandangoNow, where its low price hurts its ranking.

Saban Films has acquired distribution rights to numerous global territories on “Wildcat,” a thriller starring “Black Mirror” actor and BAFTA winner Georgina Campbell.
The distributor will roll out the film in North America, Variety has learned, as well as the U.K. and Ireland where Saban has recently expanded its presence.
Jonathan W. Stokes (“El Gringo”) wrote and directed the piece about an ambitious reporter (Campbell) stationed in the Middle East who is taken captive after her convoy is ambushed. She is confronted by the trauma of her past and must find a way to bring down the militants who incarcerated her.
Campbell won the best actress BAFTA TV award in 2015 for the BBC original “Murdered by My Boyfriend.” She also broke out in the “Black Mirror” episode “Hang the DJ,” about futuristic courtship system, and starred in “King Arthur: Legend of the Sword.”

As we head into October, the amount of new content on streaming and VOD platforms doesn’t seem to be slowing down, Covid-19 or not. For this weekend, a number of new movies were added to the major providers, including Misbehaviour, Ava, Alone, and No Escape. What, then, can we expect from these new titles and where can you watch them?
Well, first up is the Keira Knightley-starring Misbehaviour, a British comedy-drama from Philippa Lowthorpe. Set during the 1970 Miss World competition, the film examines the context behind a feminist protest at the event, and the impact of the first black winner. As with many new releases this year, a cinematic outing was curtailed by the pandemic, and with a decent response from reviewers, it’s worth checking out as a rental on the Microsoft or iTunes stores.

Three of the very few beneficiaries of the Coronavirus pandemic have been the multitude of streaming services available, drive-in theaters and the VOD market. With millions of people still unable to head down to their local multiplex – not that there’s even much in the way of new releases to be found as the domino effect continues, mind you – staying at home has provided a much more lucrative revenue stream for the industry than ever before.
Viewing figures across all major streaming platforms have risen exponentially over the last six months, the drive-in experience was the only thing that stopped the box office from reaching absolute zero over the summer, and numerous big titles were released straight to digital as the studios rethought their entire business model in an attempt to try and turn a profit during a time when the vast majority of cinemas were left gathering dust.

With less than three weeks before U.S. theaters reopen August 21, major studios have slowed their PVOD releases. With the promise of reopening comes a shot at a profitable theatrical life, but the PVOD revolution continued apace with Liongate’s “The Secret: Dare to Dream.” It immediately reached as high as #1 on VOD charts on Friday.
The film is the very definition of a high-concept presale: A self-help book published in 2006, “The Secret” was an Oprah Winfrey Club title that sold 30 million copies. Directed by Andy Tennant (“Hitch”), it stars Katie Holmes and Josh Lucas. Gravitas Ventures and Roadside Attractions acquired it last November, and planned an April theatrical release. After the theaters closed, it moved to Roadside partner Lionsgate, which has a dedicated VOD division. It opened July 31 on PVOD at $19.99.
On FandangoNow, it landed immediately as #1 and holds the slot for the full week, despite having only three days of release.

Trying to figure out the complexities of the Netflix algorithm is about as likely as divining the future through tea leaves. Often the strangest films become suddenly popular, with obscure stuff from years past rocketing up the charts as people mysteriously tune in in droves. That’s happening right now, too, as Rogue Warfare: The Hunt is the #1 most-watched movie on Netflix today.
Haven’t heard of it? I don’t blame you. The pic currently has no critic reviews on Rotten Tomatoes (and therefore no score) and has just 15 user ratings, leaving it with a princely 7%.
So, what is Rogue Warfare: The Hunt? Well, it came out in 2019 and appears to be the sequel to Rogue Warfare, which also released in 2019. The IMDb description bills it as:
“The next [story] of the Rogue trilogy; Daniel’s been captured and it’s up to the team to find him before it’s too late.

Netflix‘s Top 10 charts – be it the Top 10 most-watched movies, TV shows or both combined – are an interesting feature for the platform, with the lists often revealing some surprising titles that are drawing in tons of viewers for seemingly no reason. While it’s easy to understand why stuff like Extraction, The Old Guard and The Umbrella Academy season 2, among many others, have all made strong showings on the charts, it’s the more obscure films and TV series that really get people talking.
Yes, almost on a daily basis it seems that at least one completely random or totally forgotten title will pop up on one of the Top 10 charts and all of the sudden find itself with a huge surge in popularity. And it’s now happened again today with action film Rogue Warfare: The Hunt currently sitting pretty as Netflix’s fourth most-watched movie. But how is...

Saban Films has released the first trailer for an upcoming action thriller called Rogue Warfare. The film comes with the tagline, “when global threats rise up, one team answer the call” and that team is not the Avengers.
The movie follows “a group of skilled military elite from the U.S., Russia, UK, China and France join forces to fight an elite underground terrorist network.” It looks like a solid film worth checking out, but I enjoy movies like this.
Rogue Warfare comes from made stuntman/filmmaker Mike Gunther and this is supposed to be the first in a trilogy of films. The movie stars Will Yun Lee, Jermaine Love, Rory Markham, Bertrand-Xavier Corbi, Katie Keene, Fernando Chien, Gina Decesare, Michael Blalock, Mike McKee, Essam Ferris, with Chris Mulkey and Stephen Lang.

"We don't know what we're walking into!" Saban Films has debuted an official trailer for an action movie titled Rogue Warfare, made by stuntman / filmmaker Mike Gunther. This is supposedly part of a trilogy of movies called the Rogue Warfare trilogy, but seems to be just a solo offering so far. The synopsis is rather vague - it only states that Rogue Warfare is about a group of skilled military elite who join forces to fight an underground terrorist network. This stars Will Yun Lee, Jermaine Love, Rory Markham, Bertrand-Xavier Corbi, Katie Keene, Fernando Chien, Gina Decesare, Michael Blalock, Mike McKee, Essam Ferris, with Chris Mulkey and Stephen Lang. This really looks like one big action extravaganza with literally no plot, since these kind of jingoistic movies only really need guns and explosions, and no plot. Another feature trilogy, The Rogue Warfare Trilogy, financed by Ingenious and sold worldwide by Highland Film Group and 5150 Action Productions is in the midst of production, with stunt coordinator turned director Mike Gunther filming all three movies at the same time. Will Yun Lee is headlining what is a multi-national, special forces action/drama. We now know that the first of these three films will be released in March 2019 and conversations have begun with a major studio for theatrical release around March 2019.
The project was written by Gunther, Andrew Emilio DeCesare and Michael Day. This trilogy is the first 5150 Action Production, completely manifested in house from script to final product.
