After Ducky is attacked by a man claiming to have information about his half-brother who died decades ago, the NCIS team searches for the perpetrator, as Ducky recalls the final emotional days he had with his sibling. Also, with the holidays approaching, Bishop and Jake (Jamie Bamber) discuss the future of their relationship. Adam Campbell returns as "Young Ducky."
The team goes to the scene of a murder and Ducky doesn't show up. Palmer says he left. Gibbs tells him to call him and his phone rings where they are. They find him unconscious. He says someone called him wanting to talk to him about his brother. That's when he reveals he has a younger half-brother whom he hasn't seen in about 40 years and he died shortly after that. It seems like his mother was not a good woman and Ducky was his brother's only positive influence. His mother took him and disappeared. They wonder what they want from Duck. They later discover something that makes them think Ducky's brother is alive. Bishop makes a decision about her marriage.—rcs0411@yahoo.com
