Impact Network is rebranding from a faith and gospel-focused multiplatform channel to a family-friendly lifestyle entertainment channel focused on Black audiences.
Founded in 2010 by Bishop Wayne T. Jackson and wife Beverly Jackson, the 100% Black-owned independent network began as a channel airing sermons and religious talk shows. In 2022, with the appointment of Wayne and Beverly’s son Royal Jackson to chief creative officer, Impact Network moved into entertainment programming, including both scripted and unscripted titles with a strategic focus on religious content.
Now, Impact is shifting its lineup once more to encompass “family-friendly lifestyle entertainment, premium scripted and engaging non-scripted series in addition to programming initiatives around health/wellness/financial/cultural areas affecting Black communities.”
Among Impact’s new offerings are unscripted syndicated series licensed from Fox First Run, including “You Bet Your Life” with Jay Leno and Kevin Eubanks, “25 Words or Less” with Meredith Louise Vieira and “Divorce Court,...

Could there be yet another Jackson kid in the family? On this Friday's new episode of "The Jacksons: Next Generation," Taj, Taryll and Tj Jackson -- all Tito's children -- decide to confront a woman named Tanay, who has claimed in public to be their sister for years. In an exclusive clip, we see the three brothers introduce Tanay to their uncle, Jermaine Jackson, who seems less than convinced. "I don't think she looks anything like us," he says to his nephews after the awkward conversation with the woman, who won't reveal her true age to any of the men. Tito's sons say they flew Tanay out to Los Angeles from NYC to have her take a DNA test. We'll find out if she actually goes through with it when the episode airs Friday night on Lifetime. It's been over two years since we've seen Michael Jackson's youngest son, Blanket, out at a public event -- meaning this Jackson family portrait is one of the best photos we've seen of him, well, ever. While on a recent camping trip in northern California, where they were filming their new Lifetime reality series "The Jacksons: Next Generation," we see Blanket alongside cousins Siggy Jackson, brother Prince Jackson, Taryll Jackson, Jaafar Jackson, Royal Jackson, Jermajesty Jackson, Taj Jackson, Tj Jackson and Donte Jackson. Sporting a blue t-shirt, athletic pants and sneakers, the 13-year-old is front and center, sporting his trademark long locks beside his smiling family members. Prince, 18, leans against a tree behind him, wearing a hoodie. Sister Paris, 17, chose not to participate in the series. "The only way we would do this show was if it was stipulated that they wouldn’t have to do the show at all,...

The Jackson family is ready to bare all and tell their story ... their way! The new docu-series "The Jacksons: Next Generation" follows the lives of Taj, Taryll and Tj Jackson –- the co-guardian of Michael Jackson’s three children and high school boyfriend of Kim Kardashian -- as they record their second album together as the band T3 in 20 years. While the Jacksons have become a tabloid staple through the years, the famous family hopes to show the world their personal lives beyond the gossip. “We’ve become such a brand,” Taj explains in an interview with toofab. "And the world needs to see that we’re family, and we’re human at the same time." And when it comes to the King of Pop -- who they lovingly refer to as "Uncle Michael" -- the brothers are extremely protective of his legacy. "I love my uncle," Taj tells us.
