Actor Terrence Howard was last seen in the biopic Shirley as Arthur Hardwick Jr. The actor has worked on quite a few projects despite announcing his retirement plans back in 2022. However, while the Iron Man star gears up to hang his coat, he has also reportedly been working on himself and has undergone a boy transformation.
In his appearance on The Joe Rogan Experience, Howard spoke about changing his diet and detoxing from the ‘parasites’ in his body. He credited his wife, Miranda Pak, to have encouraged him to work on himself and change his habits. He mentioned that since they met, Howard has had many changes that have led him to look much younger than his age.

Have you ever wondered how a single scene could redefine the trajectory of a character we’ve come to love? Numerous deleted scenes starring Iron Man throughout the character’s MCU history could’ve altered the direction of the franchise. Tony Stark, played by Robert Downey Jr., is certainly one of the most significant heroes in the MCU, having been the character whose tale once served as the catalyst for the film series’ narrative.

That being said, there were, nonetheless, numerous scenes in Jon Favreau’s film, Iron Man, that were never incorporated into the franchise’s canon. One such scene included when Tony found himself in a precarious situation during his battle on the Freeway with Obadiah Stane, dressed as Iron Monger.
During this moment, Terrence Howard’s character, Rhodey, came to rescue Iron Man from a brutal beatdown at the hands of Stane.

Sweeney is set to play Christy Martin in a film that will be directed by War Machine’s David Michod. The project is set to go to market at Cannes next week.
Following the commercial success of their 2023 romantic comedy, Anyone But You, both Sydney Sweeney and Glen Powell have been building their careers based on the perception within Hollywood that they can now ‘open’ a movie. Selling a movie based on star power continues to be important in the kind of mid to low-budget films that Sweeney seems intent on making: her recent nun-centric horror flick Immaculate was reportedly made for just $9m and as well as being a lot of fun, the film made that back and more during its theatrical run.

Despite recent comments from Iger advocating for prioritizing quality over quantity and with only ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ slated for release in 2024, Marvel Studios shows no signs of slowing down.
With the strike resolved, projects that have long been stuck in development limbo are finally moving forward, and others must be expedited to maintain coherence in the MCU timeline. It’s time for these projects to advance in production.
One long-awaited project is Don Cheadle’s ‘Armor Wars.’ Initially conceived as a movie following the comic storyline of the same name, it was intended as a sequel to ‘Secret Invasion’ (released last year) and ‘Ironheart’ (release date currently unknown). Don Cheadle himself confirmed back in 2011 that a War Machine film was in the works, with Joe Robert Cole hired as the writer. Now, according to NexusPoint News, filming for the project is set to commence in January 2025 in the United Kingdom and Atlanta.

Marvel Studios has a lineup of projects slated for release or development in the coming years. While progress on most of these projects is clear, one movie has been stuck in development limbo for quite some time, with only sporadic updates emerging. We’re referring to the War Machine movie, ‘Armor Wars.’

Kiss concluded their “End of the Road Tour” with a final performance on Saturday night (December 2nd) at Madison Square Garden in New York City, returning to the city where their journey began. If it was indeed their last show ever, the rock legends certainly went out in style.
In the days leading up to Kiss’ two Msg shows, the Big Apple was besieged by an epic Kiss takeover. Among the many events and activities that took place were a special light show at the Empire State Building, the declaration of an official “Kiss Day” by Mayor Eric Adams, a pop-up store, complimentary Kiss tattoos courtesy of Inked NYC, a “Kiss Night” at a New York Rangers game, and much more.
On Saturday night, Kiss took the stage one last time, preceded by an opening set from Amber Wild, a hard-rocking new band featuring Paul Stanley’s son Evan. Despite...

Could David Michôd be returning to the fest where he launched Animal Kingdom back in 2010? Now that 2023 has come and gone, it’s entirely possible that the A24 folks were holding out or hoping for a Sundance launch with what could be a favorite for the stoner crowd with comedy Wizards! Based on a story by Joel Edgerton and Michôd, this went into production in August of 2022 in native Queensland, Australia with the likes of Pete Davidson, Franz Rogowski, Naomi Scott, Orlando Bloom and Sean Harris. Michôd gave us The Rover (2014), War Machine (2017) and The King (2019).…...

In a recent episode of Loki season 2, Ravonna Renslayer and Miss Minutes travel to 1863 Chicago. There, they find a young boy and give him a Tva handbook written by Ke Huy Quan’s Tva technician, Ouroboros. The next time we see that boy in 1893, he’s a man going by the name of Victor Timely who has studied the details of that book and is now able to invent the contraptions inside it, including the temporal loom that will become the center of the Tva.
This, of course, raises a question. Who really started the Tva? We’ve been told that the Tva was founded by He Who Remains, the man who Victor Timely will become. But now Loki shows that Victor/Hwr got the idea for the Tva from Ob’s book. How can He Who Remains be both the inspiration and be inspired?
The answer, of course, is time travel.

When you have gigantic movie franchises like the Marvel Cinematic Universe, particularly these days when it has become very popular to bring actors back to their superhero roles after a very long time, we could say that today it’s not impossible for basically any living actor who ever played a role in any franchise movie to return somehow potentially. The return of Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire in ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ showed that the superhero audience loves to see those special returns, although DC’s attempt with Michael Keaton in this year’s ‘The Flash’ wasn’t as nearly successful.
It’s common knowledge that the ‘Infinity Saga’ of the Marvel Cinematic Universe culminated with the final showdown against Thanos in 2019’s ‘Avengers: Endgame,’ which ended with Tony Stark, aka Iron Man, sacrificing himself to save the universe against the Mad Titan. Robert Downey Jr. said goodbye to the role after eleven years,...

Time is the measure of success or failure in the streaming world. Gal Gadot’s “Heart of Stone” earned 143 million hours in its first 10 days of Netflix availability. That fell short of Chris Hemsworth’s “Extraction 2” and Jennifer Lopez’s “The Mother,” which each notched 175 million-178 million hours in that same time period. All three movies, along with Zack Snyder’s upcoming two-part film “Rebel Moon,” represent a swiftly disappearing notion in the streaming world: The big-budget, English-language streaming movie is becoming a comparative rarity.
As one industry executive told TheWrap, “Peak streaming is over, Wall Street no longer loves it.”
Compared to just a couple of years ago, the sheer amount of direct-to-streaming movies has plummeted. Netflix, which pioneered big-budget streaming movies, will release just above 40 English-language films in 2023, compared to 75 in 2022. Insiders and analysts blame a change in financial tune. This article contains spoilers for the ‘Secret Invasion’ series!
The latest series set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, ‘Secret Invasion,’ concluded this week after six episodes. The episode finished with G’iah becoming one of the most powerful MCU characters thanks to the Harvest and Gravik’s machine that transformed into a Super Skrull. She defeated Gravik and freed all his human prisoners, including Colonel James Rhodes.
One of the plot twists the series provided was that James Rhodes had been Skrull all along, but the series didn’t reveal when was the real Rhodes kidnapped by Skrulls and replaced with one of their own. We found out in the series that the Skrulls have been present on Earth since 1995, and that’s a pretty long period when the real Rhodes could’ve been kidnapped.

With great corporate power should come great responsibility. And with that ethos in mind, comic book creators joined Writers Guild of America members on the picket line Thursday, protesting what they called the exploitation of the most vulnerable.
About 40 or so creators (some WGA members, some not) joined the proceedings at one of the gates outside of NBCUniversal on Lankershim Boulevard, with writers such as Eisner winner Pornsak Pichetshote (The Good Asian), Marc Bernardin (Adora and the Distance, Picard), Jeremy Adams (Green Lantern), David Avallone (Elvira), Emmy winners Shawna and Julie Benson (Batgirls and the Birds of Prey), and Lucifer showrunner Joe Henderson (Skyward). Rantz Hoseley, the Eisner-winning editor in chief of Z2 comics and independent filmmaker, organized the gathering.

Nick Fury appears to have lost most of his allies after Episode 2 of Marvel’s Secret Invasion.
The episode opens moments after the attack on Moscow, quickly devolving into a messy fight between Talos and Fury once the latter learns that there are far more Skrull on Earth than he thought. Talos reveals that, when Fury and Captain Marvel didn’t pull through with their promise to find the Skrull a new home, he summoned the remainder of the species to Earth. At this point, he has no idea how many Skrull are inhabiting the planet, but his guess is in the millions.

Say, what is the small gem-like protrusion resting on the forehead of Adam Warlock (Will Poulter) in James Gunn's "Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 3?" In the original Marvel Comics, Adam Warlock was a contemplative, star-dwelling superhero who constantly pondered the infinity of the cosmos and questioned his own status as a Messiah-like superhero. The gem in his forehead was, in fact, the Soul Gem, one of the six Infinity Gems, and an artifact that allowed him to absorb the souls of others into his own.
In the big screen version of "Guardians," Adam Warlock was transformed into an ultra-powerful lieutenant, sent by his boss to retrieve Rocket Raccoon (voice of Bradley Cooper). By then, by the continuity of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the Infinity Stones had been destroyed. The "gem" in Adam Warlock's forehead was, it seems, merely aesthetic.

Here's a piece of news that Marvel Cinematic Universe fans have likely been anticipating for a long time. Ike Perlmutter, the infamous longtime Marvel chairman whose legacy is more than a tad complicated, was part of The Walt Disney Company's ongoing layoffs, according to The New York Times. The official reasoning for this move was that his division, the consumer product-oriented Marvel Entertainment, would be folded into other company units.
As previously stated, "complicated" barely scratches the surface when it comes to Perlmutter's legacy as a Marvel chairman. Having been instated as a member of the Marvel Comics board of directors in 1993, he and Avi Arad took complete control of the then-fledgling publisher in 1998, saving it from bankruptcy by combining it with their Toy Biz company. He steadily climbed up to the coveted CEO position in 2005 and oversaw the company's sale to The Walt Disney Company in 2009. However, that...

The Marvel Cinematic Universe is setting up a new “dynasty,” and after 11 years of the Infinity Saga we’ve tossed aside Thanos like a drawer full of Infinity Stones at the Tva. MCU overlord Kevin Feige is back in the driver’s seat as we move at breakneck speed into the Multiverse Saga of Phase 4, 5, and 6.
This chapter sees the rise of Jonathan Majors’ Kang the Conqueror, but barely before things have begun, this sordid saga will be bowing out with Secret Wars in 2026. While some of us are looking beyond that to the arrival of the X-Men and potential big bads like Galactus, we’ve still got the Fantastic Four, Blade, and the timeline-shattering events of The Kang Dynasty to get through. The question is, are we reaching MCU saturation?
The MCU Is Reaching Critical Mass
In 2023 we’ve got three MCU movies and a currently unknown slate of shows in store.

This post contains spoilers for "Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania."
If you agree that Jonathan Majors' Kang performance was the best part of "Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania," we've got good news and bad news. The bad news (which you should know if you've read past the above spoiler warning) is that the version of Kang you know and love from this movie looks to be dead by the end (or possibly hiding in the past as Victor Timely). The good news is there are a lot more Majors coming your way in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
This shouldn't be news to anyone who stayed for the zany "Quantumania" mid-credits scene, which showed three more Kangs, then a whole stadium full of additional variants hooting and hollering. However, if that informal Kang pep rally wasn't enough to snap you out of MCU fatigue, "Quantumania" writer Jeff Loveness — who will also...

Don Cheadle has been part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe for 13 years now and finally, all of that time spent talking to floating tennis balls and acting in the presumably sweaty War Machine suit is about to pay off ... in about another year or so. Colonel James "Rhodey" Rhodes is on the verge of emerging from Tony Stark's shadow as the lead of his own movie. "Armor Wars" will finally give us the chance to dig into the life of the U.S. Air Force officer, as he navigates being a hero in the wake of his friend's heartbreaking sacrifice.
While the details of the story remain pretty vague, Cheadle did reveal what excites him about the project during an interview for the January 2023 issue of Total Film:

Don Cheadle had to block out the white noise when it came to joining the MCU.
The Oscar nominee was cast as the replacement for Terrence Howard’s character Lt. James Rhodes (aka War Machine) in the “Iron Man” sequel. Cheadle went on to appear in seven Marvel movies, plus the Disney+ series “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier” and “What If…?.”
Yet, Cheadle is now revealing how he committed to the MCU before “Iron Man 2” in 2010.
