Like the other reviewer. I am enjoying this series. Episode 5 has been especially good. It is so rare to see a male being abused by their mate. The actor did a great job. Also you cant help but like Pete. He has an addiction but is a good person. Well done episode.

Gripping Drama

Warning: Spoilers
I have enjoyed watching Ordinary Lies, a series about lies which quickly spin out of control.
Episode Five is my favourite episode of the series so far. Mackenzie Crook gives a compelling performance as a gambling addict desperately trying to turn his life around.
This episode has many twists, including the discovery Pete (Mackenzie Crook) has a child who his wife knows nothing about. Adding to the drama is the fact that Pete's with is pregnant, having had four previous miscarriages.
I like the way each episode hasn't completely wrapped up the storyline. This allows you to decide for yourself how the characters have resolved their predicaments.
This has been a wonderful series with many notable performances.
