- Carolyn investigates the case of a programmer, Ethan, who died while using cutting edge technology...Owned by Ivan, who does not want an ethical outcome of the data collected at Ethan's death, but it does bother him. Ivan is dying and he wants to see the ending that was recorded about Ethan... will it show him the answer we all seek?...is there a life, Here After? Mean while, Mr Oumandi, father of Halima, speaks to her fiancé, Zedan via skype about Zedan's "agreement" with him...and why he's not comming back to her, from Seattle.—KC Jefferies
- Ethan Pike, who works for Ivan, dies of cardiac arrest. He and his team were working on a project involving brain mapping: having video images of one's physical surroundings as recorded only through brain waves. At the time of his death, Ethan had the neural helmet on, which was still recording images after he had technically died, meaning that it may have proof of what one experiences in death. The problem with what is recorded is that Ethan had only provided coding for certain items which could be recreated by the program. As Ethan's team tries to get the images to a higher resolution, Carolyn and Ivan have to decide if what they are doing regarding Ethan is morally right, namely delving into his most private thoughts without his consent. Carolyn's perspective is based on her own NDE in relation to the images, and a specific incident that happens when Carolyn, Len and Sophie are cleaning Will's room. Meanwhile, Halima's father has arranged for Zed to do his residency at a hospital in Kenya. Zed has to make a difficult decision concerning his mapped out life. What looks like a difficult choice is easy for Ivan concerning some news about his cancer. And Len's suspicion that Carolyn and Ivan are in a relationship grows stronger and stronger.—Huggo
