- The player has to fight a multitude of enemies throughout the game, the fights between them are very action packed and fast paced, though never graphic or anything.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

- At one point, the player has to navigate a place where there were several spider-like creatures who ended up freezing to death. There are some dead bodies seen (of the creatures), but this isn't in any way graphic and is treated in an emotional context rather than a disturbing one. It may still disturb some players, though.
- There are many fast-paced segments of the game and require plenty of difficult, near-miss moves to succeed in.
- Combat in the game, though not excessive in any way (you only encounter enemies in certain places, otherwise, you're mostly exploring), is very fast paced and frenetic, though it's never in any way graphic.
- Kuro is a very intimidating enemy in terms of appearance and motivations.
- The game is pretty difficult, and players may end up dying many times. It is, however, very rewarding and greatly encourages and rewards persistence.

Violence & Gore
- A major character starves to death in the beginning, this isn't in any way graphic, but it's clear what happens.
- In a flashback, 3 young birds are accidentally killed by a spiritual force. This is not in any way graphic (it looks like they just fell asleep), but it is pretty surprising.
Frightening & Intense Scenes
- In the beginning, a major character starves to death in order to save the main character, while not in any way graphic, this scene is pretty emotional. However, she is revived later on.
- At one point, it's revealed that all of a character's children were accidentally killed by a spiritual force. Their deaths are not graphic (they seem to have simply fallen asleep), but it is pretty surprising and emotional.
- Near the end is very intense and fast paced as the player has to get past several obstacles without slowing down and is chased by the main enemy, Kuro, who they can't fight back against.
- At one point, the player is cornered by Kuro and has to be very fast to evade her, otherwise they'll be killed instantly. This segment is pretty intense.
