WTH Films means "What the Heck". It is named after the owner David Scott Heck.
David Scott Heck challenged his theater students to a writing contest. They were given a number of cast members (including age and gender) and possible locations for a low budget short film. Heck then worked on developing a series of story ideas on his own. When it was time to submit film ideas, Heck was surprised to read one concept that was very similar to his own. For this reason, his student Janney Cantu is given an additional writing credit for the film. She also received a gift card for her contribution.
Exit to Eternity is edited by award winning Writer & Director Derrick Fury. His film Lion Killer won Best Texas Feature at Austin Revolution Film Festival 2019.
