John Cena might want to sit alone in a dark room for a while. On Tuesday’s “SmackDown Live,” the face of the WWE took a nasty bump off an inverted exploder suplex. “Big Match John” had Shinsuke Nakamura on his shoulders to attempt a second AA finishing maneuver, but the New Japan Pro Wrestling export elbowed his way out of the fireman’s carry. With all four feet on the mat, Nakamura lifted Cena for a belly-to-back of sorts — but he didn’t quite put the “American Grit” host down the right way. Tonight’s Raw in Brooklyn’s Barclays Center is the final WWE show prior to WrestleMania (matches for Smackdown are being taped before the live Raw broadcast), and as such, all of the major competitors for the show of shows will be in attendance.
Currently, the company is advertising The Undertaker, Shane McMahon, Vince McMahon, Stephanie McMahon, Triple H, Roman Reigns, Brock Lesnar, Dean Ambrose, Sheamus, Rusev, Alberto Del Rio, Kalisto, Kevin Owens, and Dolph Ziggler for tonight. Nikki Bella is also rumored to be making an appearance on the stacked show.
The company is hyping the show by positing a number of last-minute questions, such as “Who is the true authority in the WrestleMania main event?” and “Are we approaching The Undertaker’s final WrestleMania?” Others more directly affect the card for the Showcase of the Immortals, like “Will Chris Jericho accept Aj Styles’ challenge?” and “How...

WrestleMania is the biggest night of the year in professional wrestling, without question. For almost 32 years it has acted as something of a Christmas for pro graps fans in the western world, the time of year when WWE (usually) ups its creative game, putting together engaging stories that make or break characters and set up the plots we’ll watch for the next 12 months.
John Cena is the biggest name in professional wrestling today, without question, and in many ways he has become something of a human version of WrestleMania. Whilst this isn’t true when it comes to fan-excitement, it is true regarding his standing and influence. His ascension to the top table of WWE was completed at the event, and a decade later sharing the ring with him at the event is considered a pretty big honour for young stars.

More than a month after undergoing surgery for a debilitating shoulder injury, John Cena continues to rehab for a return to the ring.
Last week, Cena tweeted a video of himself squatting a bare bar, and this week, he’s shared this clip of his shoulder mobility exercises:
5 weeks post-op. Therapy 8-9hrs/day everyday. Still a Long way to go, but getting better everyday #nevergiveup pic.twitter.com/jGzNjXZxTO
— John Cena (@JohnCena) February 11, 2016
Clearly, Cena’s right arm still has a severely limited range of motion, though he’s working hard and improving. The question on everyone’s mind, though, is whether or not Big Match John will be able to meet The Undertaker at a thus-far weak-looking WrestleMania 32. Though any speculation at this point would be just that, the event is less than two months away and Cena still has a lot of recovering to do.

There’s a key reason why John Cena is often referred to these days as ‘Big Match John’. When the pressure is on, and expectations are at their highest, Cena usually delivers.
Not only that, we know the Cenation leader lives and dies by his ‘Never Give Up’ mantra. He has an entire legion of dedicated, young fans who adorn themselves with his t-shirt, hat and wristband uniform, who count on him to always defeat the latest evil that threatens his philosophy of Hustle, Loyalty and Respect.
Whether it be battling factions, toppling giants or even taking on the entire roster, Cena always finds a way to dig deeper, fight harder and, no matter how high the odds are stacked against him, win.
Except when he doesn’t.

Women’s wrestling is on the cusp of a long-overdue change in WWE, with female superstars given three-dimensional personalities and consistent motives (on Nxt, largely). However, there’s no hiding the fact that, over the years, women in WWE have often been portrayed as sneaky, manipulative, and downright evil.
As a general rule of thumb, if a good-natured babyface aligns himself with a diva, he’ll be betrayed before long. As uncomfortable as many of these storylines may be to look back upon, there’s no denying that women have been the cause of some very memorable heel angles throughout the company’s history.
From Sensational Sherri to Aj Lee, by way of Trish Stratus and Lita, WWE’s divas have been at the heart of trouble for decades. Some storylines have been good, others terrible, but they all have one thing in common: Vince McMahon’s most devious femme fatales.

For the entirety of his singles run, Roman Reigns has been compared to John Cena. Although a rugged badass on the outside, his personality is put over as that of a squeaky-clean, do goody babyface. He smiles, he laughs and he brushes off defeats and setbacks with a wink and a wisecrack.
However, as nice a guy as Reigns is inside the ring, his behaviour outside of it has often told a different story, leading to numerous incidents WWE surely wish their loyal fanbase would rather forget.
The former Shield enforcer has spoken out of turn in numerous interviews, (sometimes inadvertently) running down his peers in the process. Rollins, Ambrose, Bryan, and even Big Match John have had their names thrown around carelessly by The Big Dog.
In fairness, not every unsavoury incident can be blamed on Reigns himself. Numerous factors beyond his control have only fuelled the...

It’s difficult to find a single superstar on which you can bet an entire company. As we’ve seen all too clearly with Daniel Bryan and, most recently, Seth Rollins, sometimes it’s not about good a wrestler is, how charismatic, or how popular; sometimes plain bad luck will rob you of your number 1 guy.
So who can Vince rely on the most? Big Match John, Triple H, Roman Reigns? Who’s always been there for him, producing top work, week-in week-out, without succumbing to injury, holding up the company for more money or walking out to play NFL for the Minnesota Vikings? If you’ve been watching WWE for last few years, you’ll know the answer: you’ll know that the one true Mvp of Vince’s company isn’t any wrestler. Nope, it’s the video editing team.

As the referee counted The Undertaker down for the three-count on Sunday night and the dust began to settle on Hell In Call 2015, plenty of questions were left looming heading into the final few months before WrestleMania season. Would we see Brock again in 2015? Who’s gonna be the first to step up to new Us champ Alberto Del Rio? And remember when WWE were high on Ryback?!
Initially, though, there was one particularly worrying and familiar issue rearing its head: what next for Bray Wyatt? The New Face Of Fear had been left flat on his back at the end of yet another big feud, and the possibility of him pressing the reset button, ambushing someone else and then getting his ass kicked all over again was already beginning to feel depressingly real.
And then, there he was! Flanked by all three of his Wyatt Family brethren,...
