The show opens with a recap of the Lex Luger/Tatanka feud. The first match is Owen Hart versus the 1-2-3 Kid. Todd Pettengill gives the SummerSlam Report. Abe "Knuckleball" Schwartz (Steve Lombardi doing a baseball player gimmick) cuts a promo. Duke "The Dumpster" Droese trashes Nick Barbary. Leslie Nielsen investigates the case of the Undertaker. Kwang makes short work of Tony Roy. Jerry Lawler's guests on the King's Court are Ted DiBiase and Paul Bearer. Mabel squashes Raymond Roy. The "main event" is Jeff Jarrett against jobber Scott Taylor. The Hart/Kid match is good, but the rest of the show is pretty forgettable.
