The first match is Val Venis and The Godfather versus the Brood. Goldust takes on the Blue Blazer. D-Lo Brown and Mark Henry face the J. O. B. Squad. The New Age Outlaws defend the Tag Team Championship against the Big Bossman and Ken Shamrock (This was in response to a segment earlier in the show where D-Generation X parodied the Corporation, which was cut from the episode that I watched on the Peacock Network). Vince and Shane McMahon make some announcements regarding the Royal Rumble. Jeff Jarrett takes on Steve Blackman in a Guitar On A Pole Match. Tiger Ali Singh becomes the first victim of the Brood's bloodbath. Kane faces Mankind in a No Holds Barred Match. Mankind and Vince McMahon have a street fight. The main event is the Rock defending the WWF Championship against Triple H.
