Cary is still in jail while the court considers whether the $1.3 million in bail money was sourced from drug sales. Kalinda has heard the tape where Carey seemingly advised three members of Lemind Bishop's crew on how to smuggle drugs. They think the tape may have been doctored. Kalinda knows which of three is the police informant but Bishop makes it difficult for them to proceed with their case. Now that he has the governor on side, Eli presses on with getting Alicia to run for State's Attorney. He gets a senior White House adviser
Valerie Jarrett to give her a call. Alicia meanwhile is taking on one of Carey's cases representing Chumhum which is being sued by disgruntled employees claiming the company had entered a pact with another major IT firm not to poach each others employees. Diane finishes her last day at LGC and moves over to the renamed Florrick Agos & Lockhart. So do several other LGC lawyers.
