Clayton Stocker Myers drew the final poster for Nimrod by hand using Gel pens and a red Sharpie marker. The cast and crew credits are also written with Clayton's own handwriting. This was initially intended as a pitch for a poster concept, but the director (Christopher Stout) liked the aesthetic of the black and white, with the hint of red so much that he decided to keep the concept Clayton drew as the official poster for the film.
Clayton Stocker Myers originally auditioned for the lead role of Jason in this film. Chris Stout (the director) stated that he believed Clayton could play this role well, but not quite the way he had envisioned it. He then offered Clayton the chance to audition for the role of Mikey, a role for which Clayton would end up competing with the actual real life Mikey Jones of which the role was based on for.
Clayton would eventually be cast as Mikey and would even room with the real Mikey Jones and Jonathan Zungre, whom was cast as Jason, for the duration of his time on the shoot.
