Ray Harryhausen discusses the making of his film "The Beast from 20,000 Fathoms".

That description is really all we have here, and what more can you expect in six minutes? But this is a very nice six minutes, because we get Harryhausen on the record about "20,000 Fathoms" and the different artistic approaches that went into the beast before he settled on just the right look.

As far as stop-animation goes, Harryhausen is the undisputed master. Yes, you could say Willis O'Brien, and he certainly is the godfather of the art. But Harryhausen took from O'Brien and improved it, in a way that I don't think anyone has done with Harryhausen (yet).
