- There is much going on at the American Bar Association meetings in New York. Alicia has been invited to give a keynote speech but is lacking inspiration. The theme is supposed to be on how she re-entered the profession after being a "dropout" mom for 13 years. Cary doesn't like her first draft and suggests she just tell her story. She reflects on the early days of her breakup from Peter and the challenges she faced getting a job. Investigator Nelson Dubek is there and still pushing Will to come clean on what he knows about the ballot box stuffing. Will gets Elsbeth Tascioni to represent him. There are rumors that a high powered lawyer, Rayna Hecht, is looking for a new firm and Alicia, urged on by Carey and Clarke Hayden, joins the fray.—garykmcd
