Chinese invite police to dinner
ctyankee19 May 2015
The Toronto police are invited to this special dinner. The leader Chow Wei get wants help to find men that are supposed to be "Boxers" from China that are bad men. Chow Wei is poisoned by eating something with shrimp which he was allergic to.

The police have to question every one in the kitchen and check the food. They all knew Chow Wei was allergic to shrimp. He had a "taster" who did not check his dinner before hand.

This episode was funny and exciting. There is a lot of Kung Fu fighting. There are swords and instruments use that these kinds of fighters use. The jumping, flipping, kicking and acrobatics used in this episode are amazing.

Officer Crabtree arrest a Chinese man named Wu Chang that is a "Boxer" and thought to be the killer of Chow Wei because the man worked in the restaurant at the time. Crabtree puts hand cuffs on Wu Chang to take him in and when leaving 3 men dressed in black outfits with their faces covered attack them. With Crabtree attach to Wu Chang wrist the Kung Fu fight is on and the 3 men are beat by Wu Chang and crawl away as losers. It is so funny to see these actions.

Later Crabtree hides Wu Chang from the police because he believes he is innocent. Crabtree gets some advice about fighting and uses it later in another fight with the 3 men in black. It seem the man that wants Wu Chang arrested is one of the 3 men who calls "Boxers" evil but they are not Boxers they are Chinese reformers targeted by Boxer thugs.

Brackenreid wife attended the dinner with her husband and likes the Chinese food. She gets groceries to cook for her him. She also buys some Ginseng that is suggested to her to enhances her husbands something. Later after eating at the station I guess the Ginseng works and they stay in the station an hour longer.

Dr Ogden finally tell Murdoch that she is getting threatening letters. They meet at a hotel to plan how they will solve this problem. The seek out the man they thought was sending them and find to their surprise it was someone else.

Even though I like Brackenreid I think he gets to insulting and angry at times with people and he reminds me of Judge Judy when she is angry and calls defendants or plaintiffs stupid.

I have to say I really enjoyed this episode with all the acrobatics of the Kung Fu jumping and running. These actors were very talented.
