Prince Andrew’s secrets are set to be uncovered, again, this time on A&e.
The network is launching Secrets of Prince Andrew, from Fulwell 73’s Bitachon365 and Candle Media, on August 21.
The documentary special will explore the British Royals’ scandal-plagued life, including the disastrous BBC Newsnight interview in November 2019 that shook the monarchy to its core.
It is the latest U.S. documentary about Prince Andrew, after Peacock launched Banished last year. Netflix is also dramatizing the story for a movie with Gillian Anderson.
That car-crash interview, which forensically examined the Duke’s relationship with Jeffrey Epstein and his paramour Ghislaine Maxwell, who was convicted of child sex trafficking and other offenses.
During the interview the Prince said that he regretted continuing to associate with Epstein after the financier pled guilty to soliciting underage sex in 2008. However, the fact that he offered no apology to Epstein’s victims caused uproar and global headlines.

The trailer has dropped for Prince Andrew: Banished, the Peacock documentary exploring Prince Andrew’s life and controversies. Watch it above.
Blue Ant Studios is behind Banished, which unpacks the tumultuous story of how the Duke of York, the late Queen Elizabeth II’s favorite son, brought disgrace upon himself.
Queen Elizabeth II’s Official Cause Of Death Revealed
After cavorting with notorious sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, Andrew took part in a hugely embarrassing BBC interview that has lived long in the memory, and Banished features new interviews with palace insiders, journalists, members of Andrew’s social circle and the legal team that brought the allegations to light. Peacock said it will take a deep dive into the world of privilege, jealousy, desire and greed that pushed Andrew — first into the orbit of notorious sex offenders Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell and then into a sordid sex-trafficking scandal.

Washington — The disinformation operation was christened “Project Clintonson.” It brought together two notorious figures in Republican political circles, Blackwater founder Erik Prince and Trump adviser Roger Stone. Their objective couldn’t have been more explicit.
“We do not need to make major gains among African American voters,” said a 13-page proposal for Project Clintonson that Prince sent to unnamed donors a week before Election Day 2016. “We merely need to dampen turn out [sic] and make it difficult for the Black Democratic elected officials in Hillary’s pocket to turn out Black voters at Obama-like levels.

A new teaser posted via the Halo Twitter account suggests that The Banished may return in Halo Infinite.

The teaser clearly references The Banished with the line “We are his will, we are his legacy, we are The Banished,” but there is some room for debate in regards to whether or not this teaser actually applies to Halo Infinite. After all, The Banished were mostly referenced in the Halo Wars series (particularly Halo Wars 2 where they were a playable faction), so some fans are speculating that this is actually a preview for a new Halo Wars game or some other spin-off. Having said that, the timing of this announcement would tend to suggest that this cryptic footage is indeed related to Halo Infinite.

When Jeffrey Walker was offered the chance to direct his first feature, Ali.s Wedding, he hesitated initially, feeling intimidated by the milieu of a Muslim immigrant who is torn between his upbringing and the Australian way of life. But as he got deeper into the screenplay by Osamah Sami and his frequent collaborator Andrew Knight, he saw a universal theme in the romantic comedy based on Sami.s experiences. .I got a real feel for the characters and their journey,. says Walker, who started shooting in Melbourne today with a cast of familiar and new faces. Sami plays Ali, the affable son of a Muslim cleric (Don Hany) who had migrated to Australia from Iraq. In an attempt to live up to the expectations of his community and his father, Ali tells a series of well-intentioned lies, which result in him pretending to be a medical student based on forged exam marks.

For the past few years, a 2016 shoot for the long-developing "Trainspotting 2" has been the goal. A script by longtime Danny Boyle collaborator John Hodge, based on Irvine Welsh's book "Porno," is ready to go and so too is the director. But as he revealed over the weekend at Telluride, where he presented a "work-in-progress" screening of "Steve Jobs" (our review), castmembers are also game to make the sequel. Right now it's all a matter of sorting out calendars. “All the four main actors want to come back and do it, and so now it is only a matter of getting all their schedules together which is complicated by two of them doing American TV series,” Boyle told Deadline, referring to Robert Carlyle ("Once Upon A Time") and Jonny Lee Miller ("Elementary"). Things probably could've been even trickier had Ewen Bremner's "Banished" not been canceled. Should all the scheduling work out,...

David Wenham in.Banished
The omens weren't great in the lead-up to the premiere of Banished on BBC First amid the controversy over the absence of Indigenous characters in the drama set in penal colony Nsw. UK critics had lambasted the 7-part series created by Jimmy McGovern as a soppy and heavy-handed romantic triangle when it premiered on BBC2 in March. McGovern defended his decision on the grounds that the action takes place during the first weeks of settlement in 1788 before the new settlers had any direct interaction with the Indigenous people. The June 25 premiere on BBC First, which co-commissioned the series starring David Wenham as Governor Arthur Phillip, MyAnna Buring, Russell Tovey and Julian Rhind-Tutt, may have caused a few nervous ripples at Foxtel and BBC First: just 38,000 watched the first telecast, according to OzTam. Banished will not be coming back to BBC Two, its star Russell Tovey has revealed.
Tovey said that the decision to cancel Jimmy McGovern's gritty historical series was "a sad day for drama".

Banished offered an uncompromising look at life in 18th century Australia, with tensions high between officers and convicts. Starring Tovey, MyAnna Buring, Rory McCann and Julian Rhind-Tutt, the series opened to overnight audiences of 3.4 million in March.
"I think all of us would love to rejoin this story and be a part of it again," MyAnna Buring, who played Elizabeth Quinn, told Digital Spy. "Some stories that you tell, they become very close to your heart - and this is one of those."

Ironically enough, BBC Two's drama series Banished took no prisoners - the latest effort from BAFTA-winning writer Jimmy McGovern was an uncompromising look at life in 18th century Australia, with tensions high between officers and convicts.
But were you gripped til tonight's final episode - or did you find Banished too grim to swallow? Digital Spy wants to hear your thoughts on the seven-parter - so leave your thoughts in the comments section.
Let us know if you'd like to see more Banished too - there are certainly plans on McGovern's part to bring the series back, with his cast speaking enthusiastically to DS about the idea.

The actor was left with a "crusty butt cheek" after picking up a tick during his time in Australia.
Banished stars on BBC Two's "gruelling but rewarding" new series
Recounting his experience on This Morning, he said: "I did have a grub on my tongue and I could feel it pulsating... I was retching! It was gross.
"We had leeches and there was one time we were filming in the bush and production rung me up and said, 'Someone has got six ticks on their body that they've found so can you check yourself'... and I said I was fine and went back to the UK.
"Then I was in the shower a week later and was like, 'What's that on my bum?' and I looked in the mirror and I had a little tick on my butt cheek!

Setting his new series in 18th century Australia might seem like a departure for Jimmy McGovern - the BAFTA-winning writer renowned for using drama to address issues plaguing contemporary Britain.
But when asked what's inherently special about a McGovern script, regardless of setting, both Russell Tovey and MyAnna Buring give the same answer: "Character."
Both star in McGovern's new BBC Two series Banished - a seven-part serial about the first settlers in Oz, many of whom were convicts shipped halfway across the world against their will.
"Jimmy adores the people he writes and he knows intrinsically who each of these people are, and the way that those characters interweave is inherent to him," Tovey suggests.
Buring - speaking to DS a few days later - is similarly effusive about McGovern: "He just gets straight down to the nitty-gritty of what it means to be human.
"You can be in the future,...

Childhood's End, a Us science fiction mini-series based on a classic Arthur C. Clarke novel which begins filming in Melbourne on December 1, will be a great gig for Australian cast and crew and, most probably, VFX houses.
A high percentage of the cast and crew will be Australian, according to Brett Popplewell, who is partnered with Jeff Hayes in HayPop, the service company contracted by Universal Cable Productions.
Popplewell and Hayes were approached by NBCUniversal executives in February/March to assess whether the six-hour series could be made in Australia and, if so, to work out a creative and financial structure.
The Docklands Studios and Melbourne locations won out thanks to a number of factors including the Victorian government.s financial assistance, the location rebate, cast and crew availability, locations and a weakening of the local dollar versus the greenback.
Film Victoria CEO Jenni Tosi .really drove [the project] and helped push it over the line,...

A seven-part series set during the turbulent period of the establishment of the penal colony in Sydney in 1788 may seem a stretch for Liverpool-born and based writer Jimmy McGovern.
Yet Banished, which starts shooting in Sydney on Monday, deals with themes the writer has often explored in the UK series he's created in a distinguished 30- year career.
.Jimmy.s stories are about the moral complexities which human beings face when they are in difficult situations,. his producing partner Sita Williams tells If. .He asks the audience: .What would you have done in that situation? Would you have done it any differently?..
David Wenham heads the large Australian/British cast as Governor Arthur Phillip, a pragmatic idealist who hopes to turn the penal colony into a land of opportunity for all. Joseph Milson portrays his nemesis Major Ross, who believes the only chance of survival is to rule with an iron fist.
