Two-thirds of Migos have a new single on the way. On Wednesday, Quavo and Takeoff (but they’re going as Unc & Phew for this one) announced the release of a new single titled “Hotel Lobby” — and it doesn’t include the third member of their rap group, Offset.
“Unc And Phew Presents The Hotel Lobby Friday!” Quavo wrote on Instagram, posting the cover art which shows the two men looking back at the camera from the front seats of a convertible. (The Unc title is fitting for Quavo since the rapper is Takeoff’s uncle.

The Chamber of Terror begins with Nash Caruthers, excuse me, Mr. Nash Fucking Caruthers, sealing the still living Tyler Ackerman (Seth O’Shea), second in command of the Ackerman crime family, up in a coffin.
A month later the tables turn and Nash finds himself captured by Casey (Sigourney McAuley) and Lennox pair of goons working for Tyler’s sister Ava. From there he’s tossed into the Ackerman family’s torture facility, the titular The Chamber of Terror, where Dr. Killian (Ian Dyck; Improbabilia) awaits him.
Up until this point, The Chamber of Terror looks like a strange crime film of some sort It’s like an over-the-top version of a Tarantino film with its off-kilter take on a standard plot and bizarre characters.

Meta jokes, perfect pace and sophisticated storytelling are wielded with skill by playful director Cody Calahan
Canadian writer-director Cody Calahan has been building something of a reputation in horror circles for his playful, narratively sophisticated work in what seem like superficially pulpy films, such as Antisocial, Let Her Out and The Oak Room. His latest offering is pretty on-brand, with winking meta-jokes, such as having the central character Joel (Evan Marsh from Shazam!) be a journalist who writes about horror films. What’s more, when we first meet him, he’s pitching a story to a horror film producer (Gord Rand) about a serial killer who is a taxi driver, a joke that pays out satisfyingly much later. In less skilful hands, gags like this would be highly irritating, but Calahan and the cast get away with it thanks to fine comic timing and likable ensemble playing.

Exclusive: Lauren Schuker Blum & Rebecca Angelo have signed on to write MGM’s adaptation of Ben Mezrich’s The Antisocial Network, which tells one of the biggest news stories of the year, about a ragtag group of amateur investors, gamers and Internet trolls who brought Wall Street to its knees. MGM landed the rights to Mezrich’s book proposal back in January, only a week after the true-life story began taking shape on Wall Street with multiple projects following including a Netflix one starring Noah Centineo.
The project brings MGM’s Michael DeLuca back together with Mezrich, author of The Accidental Billionaires: The Founding of Facebook, a Tale of Sex, Money, Genius and Betrayal, which was adapted into the Oscar-winning The Social Network that DeLuca produced.
Academy Award nominee Aaron Ryder of Ryder Picture Company, who recently signed a first-look film deal with MGM, will produce. Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss...

Like a vigilante, Saint Bodhi had to fight through darkness before rising up and into the limelight. Two years ago, the singer/songwriter from Los Angeles’ South Central neighborhood was homeless and struggling to navigate a community where many women are pressured into drug usage, undervalued, or mistreated as sex objects.

I was a huge (and I do mean huge) fan of Cody Calahan’s 2013 debut feature Antisocial and its 2015 follow-up, so I was super-excited to see The Oak Room, the latest directorial effort from Calahan and the Canadian genre filmmaking outfit Black Fawn Films – a company who, in my opinion, have produced some of the best genre films in recent years, giving the much more well-known Blumhouse Productions a run fo their money when it comes to low-budget horror filmmaking; and The Oak Room is their best yet.
On a snowy night in a small Canadian town, Paul (Peter Outerbridge) has just closed up his bar when a young man named Steve (Rj Mitte) walks in the door – carrying a lot of baggage.

Before she was a royal fiancée, before she was the star of Suits, Meghan Markle was just an actress trying to make it big in Hollywood. Prince Harry’s leading lady Meghan Markle could front any movie, the director of one of her latest roles says.
Her TV background, from working on Suits, means she is someone who “hits their marks all the time, never fluffs a line and gets a script straight away,” Anti-Social director Reg Traviss tells People.
“She’s a very good actress — very, very professional and really well-trained. She can definitely lead a film – be it in an independent film like I work in or a Hollywood film — there’s no two ways about that. ”
