Third part of an experimental 'pinku' (erotic movie) trilogy made by the independent Director's Company from Japan. All films were released in the same year. Another interesting fact is that this one was directed by Shigeru Izumiya, who would reach cult status with his cyberpunk film Death Powder in 1984. The story is kind of abstract and shows the odyssey of a war veteran through the streets of Tokyo. He is looking for his old lover and stops at nothing in order to find her. He also rapes and kills people along the way until he follows her traces to a bizarre brothel. The movie is shot entirely at night and with heavy use of neon lights, combining them with psychedelic images and weird dialogue. There is also plenty of nudity, softcore sex and violence. It could even be described as a mix of Blade Runner with the experimental pink films of the Japanese 60s. Definitely worth a viewing for fans of Japanese genre cinema.
