The eyes don't lie

Warning: Spoilers
Christine Baranski's Diane is unleashed during this episode. The emotional roller coaster she goes on in this episode shows the great writing and great acting on this show. The entire cast & writers proves this is one of, if not, the best show on TV right now. Diane, Alicia, Will and the rest of the cast kept me riveted right to the end. I can't wait to see Diane unleashed. The look in Diane's eyes during this episode said more than Diane did with words. Christine is a great actress and I think we are about to see Emmy award acting from her this season. Word to the writers: Don't hold back, let the emotions flow, let the realism enter this world and let the fighting begin. This episode also show Alicia coming into her own but can she become a great lawyer without help from her husband, the Governor? And it is true what they say: It's a thin line between love and hate, and Will is proving that trying to stop his feelings for Alicia. And if I forgot to mention, great episode.

Warning: Spoilers
I thought that lawyers generally played hard-ball. I felt that was always in their nature so as to win a case. Now, Diane and Will, based on their experience with those who abandoned them, pledge to each other that they will play hard-ball against all competition.

Diane will stay with the firm now that the governor has taken her out of consideration for a judgeship. Talk about vindictiveness. It's all politics!

Alicia's apartment has become Grand Central Station. Hard to fathom that they're having so much difficulty securing offices. If you're willing to pay the high rent for office, there must be space somewhere.

Even Diane's new husband shows that he will play ball with the opposition when the situation arises.
