Here's a lovely, romantic and dreamy concept mixing imagination and reality, present and future, and on top of that also gives a
beautiful song in this duet by MGMT and Christine and the Queens. "Dancing in Babylon" presents two lone gamers playing a war kind of game with some
conflict or training scenario yet they fall in love with each other. They're played by real-life couple Julian Morris (actor) and Landon Ross (artist)
and that fact alone makes it all more special and adorable to watch.
I liked the mystery of it all since the story makes some jumps about their relationship where it's hard to figure out if they are imagining those scenarios, if they live all of those up's and down's in the future plus the whole game settings, along with countless of other possibilities. It's one of those videos where the viewer can come up with any theory and they're all valid. Very refreshing idea these days.
While the song didn't fully appeal to me, I enjoyed the vocal harmony of both performers and the great message of love from the lyrics. A very cute music video. 8/10.
