There were some issues with the motion caption VR theme.
At times you'd see the protagonist, Dante in a green room with no props. And then in the VR simulation, you could see the chosen date, that is Kokoy, sitting on the bed. How can you do that technologically and merge it with motion capture? It doesn't make sense, but I won't score it down since perhaps its something for one to think about.
There is another part of the film leaves you questioning, however the writing is done well that your questions will be answered.

Something don't compute though.
There is suggestion that Glenda found Ed as the boy nextdoor, and he was poor, lazy or (unambitious). And that Glenda is the daughter of a multimillionaire. How are they even neighbors?
And then finally, the movie abruptly ends. Perhaps in a way, its a love story that ends on a tone where the audience has to ponder his/her own love life and write the ending themselves (hopefully for the better).
