This was a Major comeback! Brilliantly done! So well put together and thought out. The end of the previous episode was Shocking but fortunately this next episode was available immediately to watch and I am very impressed with how well this all came together! This is the kind of excellent storytelling the show deserves. I cannot say enough good things about these last two episodes, especially this one. Lots of drama and action and incredible time travel revelations and relationships, stunning realizations. Great tie ins. Altogether so well thought out! The show really has taken off like a rocket with these season finale episodes! Season 3 is a Must have now! Green light it please!!

Amazing season 2 finale

As a fan of the original series i must say this was an awesome season finale, Eliza Taylor was a must see this season, she lightened up every scene she was in, M83 "outro" song at the end just gave it that amazing feeling, wondering what they will do with the show after that final scene, hoping there's a 3rd season :) and that Donald P. Belissario stays and continues with the show, would like to see a bigger continuation of the "evil leapers" story arc unlike the only 3 episodes in the original series and of course the return of Scott Bakulla even if for 5min to help Ben and Addison , and disapear again... Come on Belissario i know you want to do it :)

It took a little while for the QL reboot to hit its stride and find its voice but this season finale was easily the best episode of the series. I'm eager to see what comes next. Please renew for a season 3. It hits all the right notes that the original series used to do so well while also making the story unique and modern. There's a beautiful call back to the OG series.

The perfect finish to season 2! Gideons story shows how you can never know what effect something is going to have on another Person, and the way he was so close to changing everything about the world like a true villain. It was good to have this end with two episodes back to back to really keep the pace up instead of waiting for the last one. The Butterfly effect was a perfect addition and the episode ended on a very exciting cliffhanger (with a perfect song choice at the end) Addison and Ben finally being reunited and possibly travelling together now? There is still so much more to the story that can be done and I hope to see an announcement for Season 3 soon.
All nicely tied together for a complete ending

I actually think this is a really good ending. They really tied things up in the last 3 episodes. The formula was never to really bring Ben home. Hanna found out she couldn't do that. But what she did find out was that she could bring someone to join Ben to leap with as Addison and Ben's connection were tied together like hers and Ben's. The intention was never to bring Ben home and she knew Addison would switch places. Her intention was to bring them together. Very nicely done and really enjoyed the ending. I think this was all too late as the show has lost most of its viewers and won't be renewed. But great ending and leaves it open for another run at this again some day.

I was a bit pensive about the episode but overtime I eased into it. At first my brain was like "Oh, a billionaire shouldn't be able to control military soldiers... he can't authorize kill strikes" but understanding what the US is going through with a billionaire presidential candidate having laws bent to his will like tin, it's totally acceptable.
Eliza Taylor was brilliant in all her appearances. She livened up the character and left precisely at the right time leaving us, the audience, wanting more.
Finally, I'm glad Ben and Addison get to leap together in the hopefully renewed third season.

Better than first season

Quantum Leap: Season Two continues the story of Ben Song being trapped in the time warp and the storyline takes place seven years in the future. Ben's girlfriend Addison has moved on and is dating Peter Gadiot. This season Ben has been leaping through time and encountering the same person at each event. The beautiful Eliza Taylor joined the cast as the physicist who is able to rewrite the code to get Ben back home to his timeline. I liked this season better than the first even the chemistry between Eliza and Raymond. Although I couldn't stand the Woke cast, wishing Bakula would make an appearance, this season second was not half bad. I am sure a third season is in the works, let's see where it takes the team.

Oh my god this episode is the best episode ever made!
Feel bad and so sad Hannah didn't end up together with ben forever, I just wish Hannah could go to the future with Ben with Jeffreys work but yeah Addison and Ben its just amazing and they should end up together too this is the hardest choice, Hannah or Addison right but OHMAGAD THIS IS SOO GOOD! Love the story, the actors and the story of Hannah and Ben in the first place got me hate to them both because of Addison, but in the mean time the episode going on and until right now the last moment of Hannah and Ben they really got my heart than Addison and Ben!
So i think the writer is freacking genius for made up the story. JUST LOVE HANNAH ADDISON AND BEN THE TRIO!!!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

With the way season 2 ended I hope we get another. They haven't renewed it yet for another season and have been keeping quiet about it. I'm a bit worried we won't get closure. It was sad seeing Ben have to say goodbye to Hannah . But I'm not surprised they were never meant to be together. They brought together by ziggy to help Ben get back home to Addison and his friends. I hope this isn't the last we see Eliza Taylor. They could bring her back as Hannah's great granddaughter. The ending is a cliffhanger with finally Addison finally being reunited with Ben but not in the way we expected. She is leaped to sometime during a war and arrives near Ben. Instead of taking his place. Addison and Ben hug and run off to find out whats going on. They better end it like this we need another season. It would be interesting to see what they do with Ben and Addison next season leaping and solving things. Please abc bring this show back for season 3. Things are getting more interesting don't end it like this.

The original Quantum Leap (1989-1993) ended on what series creator Donald Bellisario said was intended to be a season (not series) ending episode. For many, this left a bitter taste of unexplained lees. The reboot (in 2022) seemed to offer the promise of answers that many had hoped would occur for 29 years. There were many hints as to the mechanics of quantum leaping (e.g., s1e11); yet we are left with -- if possible -- more unanswered questions. For fans of television series (who invest time+ in a series), canceling abruptly leads to anger at those who canceled the show (in this case, NBC executives). NBC does have an out, with precedence. After they canceled the series "Timeless," Sony Pictures Television picked it up, and allowed for a double-length closure episode. Given that streaming shows can subsist on relatively meager ratings, the "Timeless" reboot was successful. Sony (and NBC) can agree to the same fate for Quantum Leap. With even one short additional season, fans, actors, writers and even advertisers can get to closure. If nothing else, such a plan would ease the way to a more lucrative syndication of the series.

Excellent closure to season 2 and was so looking forward to see what happens next, when I read today that NBC had cancelled the show.
I love the group dynamics and glad they brought back Al's family for the finale. Some nice twists throughout.
My only big-bear was that previously Geoffrey had brown eyes and his older incarnation had blue. Surely there are enough brown eyed actors in Hollywood!!
Just hope some other company picks up the show for season 3, as would love to see where they go from here. Even a movie special with Scott Bacula would be great, so that all 3 leaders can finally make it home instead of being lost in the limbo of TV cancellation.

It was good, better than the previous episode but the one before that was the story of the two series.
There really is no need for a series 3. The original show went on for too long and I would hate for this to go the same way.
It was a feel good conclusion but the show already seems to be out of stories not that there has been much in the way of stories apart from Ben's lovelife.
Beth claims that the original history of her father changed or she wouldn't have been born but there was no explanation on how she was told this (the incidental music from the original series was a nice touch at this point).
If this continues then it is going to turn into Timeless.

Really good coulda ended better

Pretty good episode. Ending coulda been better and really made people feel excited about a possible 3rd season.

They shoulda used the opportunity to kinda wrap up original show and have. Coulda had 95% same ending but then pan back to the current time line and have Sam re-appear home having been swapped.
Understand Scott Bakula may not want to come back but feel like they coulda gotten a 2 second cameo to end the season. And if that woulda been the end to the show and no season 3 it could have also worked for a perfect ending for that too.
Beyond that it was one of the better episodes of the season.
