ABSOLUTELY LOVED BILL BAILEYS TAKE ON WA
lyninbyron11 January 2024
No pretence, Bill Baileys personality, enthusiasm and inquisitiveness about nature and the people he meets shines through in every scene. His unique style of interviewing brings out the best in the people he meets.

I lived in Western Australia for eight years and saw a fair chuck of it but was overly consumed with building our house. Watching Bill travel to most of the places I've seen was fascinating, especially getting the perspective of a Brit and then seeing beautiful WA through Bills eyes. Well done to you and your crew Bill and thank you for your lovely take on our unique and isolated island home.

Not enough scenery

I watched only the episode featuring Margaret River, Perth and Fremantle. I've been to all three because my daughter lives in Freo (I'm from the UK).

But Bill spent most of the episode talking indoors; in a fruit and vegetable warehouse, a music studio, someone's house.

Could have been in the UK for all we saw.

I did enjoy the brief section about Aussie Rules football from Fremantle Oval.

Some stunning beach shots would have done the trick (although filming seems not to have been done in the summer months, for probably the best reasons).

In fairness to Bill he really does love WA and in fact thinks it's the best place on earth!
