- Cameron's continuing use of shady tactics on Ava's case brings up memories of why Harvey left the DA's office to work for Jessica. Mike looks back on what cost him his one chance at a Harvard degree.
- Mike and Harvey each flashback to ten years ago, when Mike was a transfer student newly accepted into Harvard and Harvey was having ethical problems working at the DA's office under Cameron Dennis. Donna was also impressing Harvey (and Louis) back then with her Sherlock Holmes powers of observation.—statmanjeff
- Opens with Louis and Donna in the elevator together. He's having a spectacular day, which comes to and ends as soon as sees Harvey's name on the wall.
Donna asks Harvey when he found out about the name partner thing. Harvey tells Donna he doesn't think her focus has been where it needs to be recently. She's always just known what she needs to.
TEN YEARS AGO
The New York City DA's office. After seeing just how amazing Donna is at reading Harvey's life, Cameron walks out and tells him they have a meeting with the McKenzie brothers.
Mike finds out he's been accepted into Harvard. He and his roommate Trevor celebrate.
PRESENT DAY
Harvey and Mike figure out that Cameron has a new witness in Ava's murder case.
Rachel leaves for Stanford. Things are awkward between her and Mike as she leaves for the airport.
TEN YEARS AGO
At a fraternity party Mike sits down at a poker game.
Cameron tells Harvey he wants to make him head litigator. Reference is made to an agreement Harvey has to return to Jessica.
Mike is killing the card game.
Harvey and Donna talk about his new promotion. They do some flirting, but Donna says she doesn't get involved with people she works with. Bertha walks in and Harvey becomes aware that he's left out an important piece of discovery that could screw them.
Mike loses a huge pot to one of the fraternity members. Trevor helped stake him in the pot because Mike was guaranteed to win, but the brother cheats and there isn't anything Mike or Trevor can do about it.
PRESENT DAY
Huntley offers Harvey his help with regard to Cameron's new witness. Harvey declines. Mike arrives with word he's found out the witness's name. Harvey makes sure Mike notices his name added to the wall - Pearson, Darby and Spector.
TEN YEARS AGO - when the names on the wall are Gordon, Schmidt and Van Dyke
Harvey asks Jessica if he can extend his time at the DA's office. He tells her about being offered head litigator. She counters by revealing she and Daniel are planning a takeover.
Trevor tells Mike he has to get his money back, as it came from a drug dealer he has to pay back. To get the money back, Trevor asks Mike to take a test for someone.
Harvey plans to stick a report into the file after the fact. It's breaking the law and Donna thinks he's making a huge mistake. He reminds her that it's not her job to question his orders.
PRESENT DAY
Mike and Harvey tell Cameron they know the witness is Colonel Mariga from the video. Cameron's plan is to keep him away from them until he takes the stand, but he offers them a deal for Ava: Nine years with parole.
TEN YEARS AGO
Trevor returns to the apartment having sold the test. Mike demands to join him when he goes to pay back the drug dealer.
Cameron challenges Harvey about the report. It turns out Cameron intentionally buried the report about their witness being drunk. Cameron has taken it back out of the file and Harvey says he doesn't feel comfortable with that. Cameron gives Harvey the same speech Harvey gave Donna - do your job without questions.
PRESENT DAY
Huntley tells Mike he thinks Harvey is making a mistake not dealing with Cameron. Huntley thinks Harvey's judgment is clouded because of Donna.
TEN YEARS AGO
Mike and Trevor bring the dealer his money. The guy loves Mike and gives him some money. They leave and campus police immediately grab Trevor for selling the test.
Donna talks to Harvey about what Cameron's making him do. She's gone through past cases and finds that Cameron has repeatedly skirted the law. She thinks if Harvey stays with Cameron he'll continue to break the law.
PRSENT DAY
Harvey is pissed at Huntley for going to Mike behind his back.
TEN YEARS AGO
Harvey asks his father for advice. He tells Harvey he thinks Cameron will make him do it again.
Mike talks to his grandmother about his situation with the test. The school knows his friend couldn't have been the one to steal the test since he wasn't in the class. Mike thinks he should turn himself in, but the result will be he'll fail the class.
Harvey goes to Cameron. He has disclosed the report and is resigning.
Mike confesses to the dean his role in the test sale. It turns out his daughter bought the test from Trevor and the dean is being forced to resign. As payback he's going to expel Mike and make sure he doesn't go to Harvard.
Harvey drops by Donna's place and tells her what he'd done. Since they technically no longer work together she invites him inside for some sex.
Harvey tells Jessica he's changes his mind and wants to work for her. His only demand is that he be given his own secretary. Jessica agrees, so long as the difference comes out of his salary.
Harvey tells Donna he wants her to come work with him. She agrees, so long as they never mention what happened between them.
PRESENT DAY
Harvey tells Donna that her being with Huntley bothers him. She changed her policy because she finally needed to start living her life.
TEN YEARS AGO
Harvey starts at the firm. Louis is shocked at how quickly Donna can read him.
PRESENT DAY
Rachel returns from Stanford to find Mike waiting for her with a Stanford hat. He says he's going to support her in whatever she chooses. He shows her his Harvard acceptance letter from ten years earlier.
Harvey tells Jessica that Cameron was bluffing about everything. They have won Ava's case. He also tells her about his deal with Darby. Though he doesn't want to be managing partner anymore, she says "get out of my sight."
Mike confronts Cameron about his big lie with the witness. Cameron responds that he didn't have the colonel before, but he has him now and says it was Huntley who led him to the colonel.
