The idea of pants being a new invention and people rebelling over it, that is actually mildly clever and the kind of thing that this show should be parodying. But it simply is not a deep enough story for a whole episode and would be a nice cutaway gag on Family Guy, not a plot.
Overall, the writing continues to let this voice cast down each and every week. Matt Berry's character making ridiculous sex jokes can be funny, but you need more to a show than that.
