Well done

I rather enjoyed this show. Though some of the characters takes a bit getting used too, it was overall a good show.

And I actually had to check out if this was for real or scripted with professional actors, because sometimes its almost too insane.

For the record: It is real

But that said, I think 5 episodes is enough, any more would just be milking it.

Watch it if you can, I'd say its worth your time.

The show is about: (this is cut'n paste from the BBC three page) Fly-on-the wall-documentary following the ups and downs of call centre CEO Nev Wilshire and his staff of extraordinary characters.

Enjoyable and i wish every boss had just 10% of his energy

Warning: Spoilers
I saw the first episode back in 2013 and i had to switch off as I was unemployed at the time and feared that this is where i would end up. I didnt and it didnt happen.

I watched again in 2016 and got into the series. Nev is personality who should run every company as just 10% of this man's energy and enthusiasum for his staff, no one would leave.

Watching through both series, they are not on any following time line. The only thing that flows is the character Griff from when he leaves, comes back and then permanently leaves in the second series. Watch carefully and you will see these anomilies. Christmas party which is series 1 episode 6, one young lady is a relationship manager and its Christmas 2013 as Nev mentions going forward into 2014. The next episode, series 2 episode 1, where they are arranging a ping pong competition, its suddenly back to the summer of 2013 and that same young lady is a sales agent.

Same is true for another young lady at the Christmas party and then in induction in the same two episodes.

It is an interesting series and can be a bit of a feel good factor if you had a bad day knowing all bosses arent that bad really.

Please Please Please tell me it gets funny. ? The call center show taking place in India Outsourced that got canceled was very funny this. .. Not even close. I may watch an episode later but so far I would rather be sleeping. It is not even funny it is just slow agony you would want it to get funny but .. Alas it does not. It just keeps going about 2/3 of the way through I pulled the plug on the show it might be worse than watching an hour of commercials. With the people that are in it and writing it It should be so much more. But it just never gets there like an old tractor stuck in Super Low full speed powering its way no where. Make me Laugh not cry make me want to watch the show don't give up on quality TV just for pain and anguish. You can do better you can be funny .. Please do it foe the kids do it for mommy and Daddy do it for your poor dog Rex do it for somebody just do it .. Please. Be Funny !!!!! Do it for the Queen. !!

Real life version of the office
lucchimark14 November 2013
super cringe worthy fly on the wall documentary that has so many similarities to Ricky gervais' the office it is hard to believe that he's not behind it in some way. Had to toss up between giving it a score of 1 for awful and 10 for excellent and decided on the latter as I think this series could be an accidental masterpiece. The main character and call centre ceo nev wilshire, is basically David Brent in a different body(although not dissimilar body types)and you can have lots of fun drawing parallels between some of the other characters in the two shows as well

The Call Centre is a documentary series which takes a look behind the scenes in the world of call centre operators to reveal exactly what motivates them. It is filmed in the third largest call centre in Swansea and at the helm is CEO Nev Wilshire, guiding his company with an unorthodox management style.
