It's so captivating that you get heart palpitations, while the recently graduated actor Martin Aliaga sits in Staffan Valdemar Holm's office below a drawing by Toivo Pawlo and talks about the immigrant quota and the suburbs and wants in, surrounded by the insane tension, the art of memorization, stage fright and the everywhere prevailing eagerness to be illuminated on that stage.

Marin Aliaga chases further towards the goal of his dreams - a steady job at Dramaten. Meanwhile, Gunnel Lindblom, Johan Rabaeus and Tanja Svedjeström struggle with their new roles in the play "Ord om krig/Words About War". And theater manager Staffan Valdemar Holm does not get a quiet moment.

Örjan Ramberg and Alexandra Rapaport clash in Molière's "The Imaginary Sick". Melinda Kinnaman is stabbed to death by Jonas Karlsson in "Woyzeck". Börje Ahlstedt has a conflict with the makeup artist. There are arguments about construction fraud, choice of costume and shoes that are too tight. One of the directors is questioned. And it is the theater manager Staffan Valdemar Holm's job to mediate.

Theater manager Staffan Valdemar Holm wants action and stages Harry Martinson's play "Three Knives from Wei" with only women in the roles. But gets a reprimand and a lousy review by the newspaper Dagens Nyheter's theatre critic Leif Zern. The drama staff hold a crisis meeting about the managers future existence at Dramaten. And immigrant actor Martin Aliaga is still waiting for a place in the sun.
