- Jess: [whistle blasts] Miaow!
- Postman Pat: Jess!
- Lucy Selby: Good save, Pat!
- Postman Pat: Thanks! That was close.
- Lucy Selby: Sorry I gave you such a fright. See, I'm helping Dad get fit for the football game.
- PC Selby: Hello Pat.
- Postman Pat: [laughs] Hello there, Arthur.
- Lucy Selby: Dad, you're slacking.
- PC Selby: [puffing]
- Lucy Selby: This whistle is great! Watch!
- [she blows her whistle loudly]
- PC Selby: Oh. Oh... Here we go.
- Lucy Selby: [blows her whistle again]
- PC Selby: Up we go... down again.
- Lucy Selby: [blows her whistle yet again]
- PC Selby: Oh! Right-ho!
- Postman Pat: [laughs]
- PC Selby: Oh dear.
- Lucy Selby: Maybe the whistle wasn't such a good idea after all.
- PC Selby: I don't think I'm cut out for all this running around.
- Postman Pat: Mmm. But with all your police training, bet you'd make a great referee.
- PC Selby: Yeah! Referee! Now that sounds more like it.
- Postman Pat: Julian and Charlie are practising down at the field. Why don't you go and join them?
- Lucy Selby: Thanks Pat, I will. See you later Dad.
- Mr. Pringle: Whoops!
- Charlie Pringle: Dad!
- Mr. Pringle: Whoops! Sorry Charlie.
- Julian Clifton: Hi Lucy!
- Mr. Pringle: Hello Lucy.
- Lucy Selby: Hi everyone.
- Julian Clifton: What's that you've brought?
- Lucy Selby: My dad's traffic cones. I thought we could use them to practise dribbling the ball.
- Charlie Pringle: Perhaps now Dad won't keep knocking me over!
- Mr. Pringle: Away! I'm not that bad.
- Julian Clifton: Come on then. Let's set them out.
- Julian Clifton: Charlie!
- Charlie Pringle: Hold on, I'll just be a minute. If I put that one like that...
- Lucy Selby: Come on Charlie!
- Charlie Pringle: ...and that one like that...
- Lucy Selby: I want to have a go too.
- Julian Clifton: Yeah, we haven't got all day!
- Charlie Pringle: I have to make sure they're the right distance apart.
- Charlie Pringle: Right then.
- [he clears his throat]
- Charlie Pringle: Doctor Gilbertson, I need you to keep an eye on Julian.
- Doctor Gilbertson: Right-ho, Charlie.
- Charlie Pringle: And Sarah and Lucy, watch out for me going wide to pass the ball.
- Sarah Gilbertson: Yeah, okay Charlie.
- Lucy Selby: Okay.
- Charlie Pringle: And Dad, you've got to stop the ball from going into the net.
- Mr. Pringle: Okay son.
- PC Selby: Is everyone ready?
- Julian Clifton: Um... not yet. Um, we need to do our warm-up exercises first.
- [he does a few warm-up exercises]
- Julian Clifton: Come on Dad! Where are you?
