Finally!

Best episode of the season, well last three seasons actually. This is what made Billions an outstanding show. Last three episodes looks promising. The drama is back and there's a lot of characters finally stepping up. And of course Billy Joel as an entry and an exit. It doesn't get any more New York than that.

The show stopped being interesting a while ago to be fair, kind of like the development in House of Cards.

Billions worth billions

Oh boy, how log we've been waiting for this kind of an episode in the season 7. Finally, we get that magic touch of what the Billions are made from. In comparison to the previous huge disappointment episode (and one of the worst ever!!! In Billions IMHO) railed by boring political competition we finally get some twists, tensions and excitements. These games should have been started earlier during the season definitely...Unfortunately there are so many potential stories and twists that could have been told, if we are not left with just 3 more episodes, but if we want to be honest, taking that aside and looking solely into this episode - this was the masterpiece! Bobby is now coming as a cherry on the top of a cake!!!

Warning: Spoilers
A classic episode full of intrigue drama many levels of deception I love it. The end of this wonderful series I assumed it would be bad but I was reenergized after this episode because they went back to what made them great the true interactions of the characters degreed the drama the twist it was perfect I can't wait to see what the ending will be relax the back will ask be the main protagonist in the remaining portions of the show well everybody gang together to do what's right and wrong in the world. It's impressive. The only item that I still don't like is that they have not proven to me why principal such a menace but we'll wait and see.

Too Late
douglasmcbroom7 October 2023
If the writers and producers had run this episode six episodes ago, and then followed with episodes that built from this base, we might have had a much different final season. Oh, the all-to-frequent and highly annoying cultural references would have still been firing on all cylinders, and the insufferably smug and arrogant characters of Mike Prince (Cory Stoll), Kate Sacker (Dola Rashad), 'Scooter' (Daniel Breaker) and Philip (Toney Goins), would still be just as unbearable, but plot-wise, we would have engaged the battle much sooner, instead of all the pointless and boring stand alone episodes!

This wasn't a return to the greatness of 'Billions' past-that's gone-but it was the best episode of the season, thus far. Unfortunately, it's too little, too late. But, perhaps, the final three episodes will be satisfying.
