Stellar Cast
ellenj-1157311 December 2023
I wasn't happy when this series turned into a police procedural, but it redeemed itself in the end. What I like about many of the Korean series is that they have moral heft, and this was a good example of that. For me, the most interesting elements involved the relationship between the brothers and between Yook Dong-Joo and Kang San. But I was confused in the middle, and although it came together, it dragged a little. The acting was impressive, the ending was satisfying, and the main characters, as well as the minor characters, were likable. As an author, I could really relate to Yook Dong-Joo's publishing insecurities, Nicely done.

Something different
jaldred-6612016 October 2023
This series unfolds slowly but it explores the consequences of the decisions you make throughout your life. It also included time travel and a mystery. The male lead developed from someone who felt that life was against him and he couldn't do anything about it to someone who, despite making some wrong choices, finally understood that he needed to take responsibility for his bad choices to move forward. Similarly for the elder brother. I found it an enjoyable series, something different. The miracle aspect was a bit underdeveloped but a worthwhile watch. Stick with it if you are unsure for at least a couple of episodes.

Great premise and great direction
janakibrooks12 August 2023
This drama is so compelling and so beautifully written. The story unfolds, very deliberately, and nothing is revealed in the plot to soon keeps you on the edge of your seat. The acting is just perfect. Just paced so perfectly. And I have to complement both the directors, all the crew and writers, and also art direction and of course the actors you have to make all of this come alive on the screen it really is quite something. It's full of pain hits of human beings, but also with a lot of compassion and reflection about that pain in the causes of it. It's a real subject, the touches the heart. Visually done in the style of film noir it keeps you engaged because you always feel that there's something that isn't being told isn't being seen and it requires you to reach in to your own mind to fill in the gaps and then you wanna check and see if you're right. Definitely worth watching!

This drama is so satisfying. After each episode you can't wait for next episode. The mystery in this drama amazing. You can't imagine what happen in next episode. The acting is great of all actors. You can feel their emotion while watching series. This story is great for who want mystery, thrill in a story. All episodes are satisfying. You can't imagine this is time travel plot story.

I love the story. I love the character of dong gu, Kang sen and hee nyul. I love how much suspense and thrill this story contain. The bond between protagonists is so good. But the drama is underrated, it acting is superb and plot is well written. I have watched full drama and I love it.

Great Series
npoc-7410522 September 2023
I was totally hooked with this fantasy, drama, mystery series! Suspense throughout with a lot of twists and turns. The writers did an excellent job. The protagonist characters were great; not over-the-top, very relatable in most cases (excluding super powers), likeable, great rapport, etc. The antagonist characters were also great. It was a cohesive story. The actors were fantastic! The two male leads portrayed such a great bond with each other! The director did a outstanding job. There is enough room in this story for another season, especially since all the characters & actors are nicely melded together.

You won't be disappointed.

Could have been better- am yet to see the miraculousness
bironautoo27 September 2023
The dramatic music in certain parts is unnecessary. The main actor keeps yelling unnecessary, his face betrays what he says. As for the boy from the past he keeps shaking for no reason and having that shocked face ......

I do not see them battle any crime as written in the description. The first and 2nd episodes looked promising then we got into this one story line.

The female cop who is all tough but is traumatized.

Like they was a story somewhere in there, am on episode 10 just about to give up, if we keep talking about plagiarism and lost brother.

The story line is slower than many K-Dramas considering it's a 2023 I expected a more fast paced action .......

Great plot and narration
alternate_5 October 2023
It has been a while since a well-written supernatural mystery drama came to any platform. This drama has good plot with obvious underlying contradictions. It explores a lot of philosophical and moral dilemmas and conflicts in a new way. Whilst doing that it doesn't confuse the viewers with too many information at first and lets the story build on its own. The actors' deliverance, direction, narration, was all bang on. This is a fun, exciting watch that make the viewers keep guessing as to the characters' reactions to the many things that they come across over a period of time. Every scene is well-placed and paced unlike most mystery dramas. This is a good account on human nature that investigates the layers between the two extremities of good and bad.

Get Going

Warning: Spoilers
Again a convoluted story that crawls back to crimes committed some time ago.

There is a very interesting beginning with the struggling writer. Then a bit of SciFi added and I wasn't sure what this show is. Until a dig to the pass. For another 5 episode or do, the past is revealed with more characters and villians.

However the pace suffers with the dragged out bent to fit 16 epidodes. There are slow motions, regret of a cop, long lost love, hidden evidence, bad cop with a consience, paternal love, brotherly love. ....etc Everything you can think of the plot has it.

So this could have been a great show in 10 episodes. Now it's just very average.

An excellent storytelling and gripping series
krishndhaam7 October 2023
I must say this is an excellent storytelling Korean series with real and unique concept on time travel and crime investigation. Must watch. This series from beginning has unique concept on time travel mystery with thrilling episodes that can connect you from beginning to end. Even the background score and all the songs are too good and enjoyable fitting with emotions, twist in each episodes. I loved watching each and every episodes with lots inner questioning, what would be next going to happen. As usual korean drama series never disappoint in creating a unique aura of gripping story, screenplay and mind blowing direction, and finally the characters are two lively feels like they are playing real time events. Each and every character in this series done their best act, specially Main lead & magical miraculous brother's.

I can hear the sounds of people in pain
alaningle78 March 2024
An unsuccessful writer Yuk Dong-joo (Jung Woo) is driving when a young man Kang San (Bae Hyun-sung) runs in front of his car and ends up in hospital in a coma. The aspiring writer finds a book in the backpack of the young man which he recognises could be a best seller. When the young man comes around from his coma he has no recollection who he is but appears to have mysterious powers. Together they try to find out who he is and form a brotherly partnership to recover his memories. It is an interesting script but as the real story begins with a murder committed 27 years earlier you do need to pay attention to keep up with plot and characters. It is well acted but I felt the pacing was off at times and certainly could have been shorter or more time spent on the supporting cast and their stories.

SEASON 2 PLEEEEEEEEASE!
gathogajazmine20 August 2023
I have never left a review for any series even though several times i wanted to for some of my most loved shows like flower of evil, but for this show i just had to! The writer and producer of this show deserve an award imao. Just finished all the episodes and i want more. The story is so compelling and beautifully written - its not your average time-travel cookie-cutter show. The plots are well written and seamlessly flow into each other. They cast the perfect actors for this and boy they delivered. Every episode leaves you wanting more and I hope others get to give this show a shot - we binged this for 12 hours straight!

Good enough for 2nd season!
balletteacher27 September 2023
Miraculous Brothers starts off as a murder mystery, into science fantasy-time travel, into brotherly love, into book writing and into religious fanaticism. WOW! The writing was incredible! Every episode left you hanging and wanting more! The actor, Jung Woo, plays leading man Dong Joo, is brash, loud, impatient, annoying...and then naive, funny, empathetic, sincere, a good son, a loving brother all at once. He is amazing! Young actor Bae Hyun Sung was very convincing as the teenage boy from 1995. The lovable detectives were led by actress Park Yoo Rim and veteran actor Ahn Nae Sang and my favorite character was Dong Jo's BF and street cop Yong Dae (actor Jo Bok Rae). The rest of the supporting cast was excellent and gave this drama a lot of believability. OST was powerful and creepy at times. Bravo to the Director and writer who left us, the viewers wanting a 2nd season👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 Note: I wish Kdramas cop series who love to use female detectives as leading characters would not dress and style them like males: unkempt hair, hoodies and sweatshirts, no make-up. I feel bad for those actresses who sign up for such roles.

Very bad example of Korean drama
umit_onder18 September 2023
I sit in front of my laptop with a high expectations and hopes to have good time watch a new K drama named "miraculous brothers" in Netflix. Unfortunately it was a great disappointment. It is total failure. They used all kind of cliche. Ne creativity at all. It is too slow it is too dark, to many repetitive. I do not like scenario too. Cast selection is probably wrong. Therefore acts are no good. I do not understand even some scenes. Coming forward, and then backward , forward again and so on. Is this an art really. I do not know how much has been spent for this drama, but it is wasting of money unfortunately. . Don't waste of your time, as well.
