Well that was disappointing and I don't just mean the episode but the whole second season. I have never read any of the books and after this season I am even less likely to do that in the future.
Whilst the first season seemed somewhat fresh and natural, the second season turned into a farce with an overly construed plot and unbelievable story developments left, right and centre.
Silly (repetitive) comments en masse: 'In an investigation assumptions kill' and 'We have a lot more killing to do' as prime examples that undermine serious credibility. Reacher who insists on being called just 'Reacher' has literally become a caricature of himself with an expressionless Botox face and a very pretentious walk. So sad!
The scene in the helicopter with Langston (Robert Patrick) is one of the most ridiculous sequences I have seen in a long while, where he is literally single handedly saving Neagley from falling to her death...
Season 3 has already been green-lit, but it's not a believable crime drama that will see me returning as a viewer.
