After watching the lackluster season 16 finale, I am reminded that the season 15 grand finale was hands down the best in the history of the show. GODDESS was easily the best number a queen has ever given on the show, EVER. There is zero contest. Sasha Colby dominated the season and came to prove in the finale that she truly deserved to win, and she did that and more. Her lip sync for the crown was the best lip sync for the crown we've ever gotten. Her reveals were executed perfectly, and the moment she let down her hair and dropped to the floor was perhaps the fiercest and sexiest moment on the show ever and my jaw was on the floor in that moment. She is such an enamoring and enigmatic dancer and there has never been another queen to grace the show with that level of talent when it comes to lip syncing. The lip sync itself, the outfit Sasha revealed down to, and being crowned in that revealing outfit and being the first trans winner of the original franchise was an iconic moment for the trans and queer community. Sasha Colby proves that stunts aren't the most important thing to make a lip sync incredible. The face, sexiness, confidence, presence, poise, timing, control, and levels that she brings to a lip sync are unmatched.
