The series hits top gear

The trial starts in earnest as witnesses are called for the plaintiff. Ronald has to deal with his first issues as foreperson: Todd wears an odd contraption that annoys the judge and Barbara keeps nodding off during proceedings. The judge tells Ronald it is his responsibility to keep the jury in line. The jurors are convinced Noah's girlfriend is cheating on him.

Until now Jury Duty has been interesting and engaging but not brilliant. Much of what has been happening has been scene-settings and getting to know the characters with the humour being quite sporadic. This episode, however, shows that the scene-setting is over, kicking the series into top gear.

Every scene now has a large amount of humour in it. It's not just the quantity, the quality has improved too. Hysterically funny at times: the brand consultant witness was absolutely hilarious.

After previously just going along for the ride I am now fully immersed in the series and can't wait for the next episode.

This is 100%...

...one of the funniest episodes of any TV series that I've seen in a long time. I love the whole series so far but this episode, I laughed out loud several times and nearly peed myself (not proud).

When that woman is testifying? I was laughing so hard that I had to rewind three times.

The actors are all amazing. And the poor guy who doesn't know. Lol He's so nice, you really feel bad for him. He's the most perfect guy they could have chosen.

If you haven't checking this series out yet, just watch the trailer!

Can't wait to watch the 5th episode next week. I think this one may just be one of those sleeper hits like Ted Lasso.
