When approaching the interrogation room scene, writer/director, Jack McDonald and director of photography, Todd Blankenship envisioned giant stained glass windows within an extremely dark room. With the constraints on time and budget, the crew opted to shoot on a soundstage, building the set from the ground up. With this came the difficulty of finding four, five-foot-tall stained glass panels. These were completely out of the budget range, however, this was no problem the art director Donna Pellett couldn't solve. She designed a four-panel plexiglass sheet, and then applied large stickers of stained glass patterns helping to sell the effect. The on-camera result looked fantastic, and it is all thanks to Ms. Pellett's ingenuity to bring this vision to life.
