CBS just cancelled this show
akoyxm6 May 2023
CBS just cancelled this beautifull show because they don't have enough money. It's rare a show gets canceled despite having good ratings we got a record of audience this season, it's the best CBS show and so we don't gonna get a serie finale it's so sad. I was so optimistic about its renewal because is the best CBS show with but I was wrong sadly

Anyway thank you to the cast special mention to Lina Esco your work on that show was fantastic and the producters, the writers and all other people worked on this show i loved it and i hope Netflix or another TV network gonna pick up the show and produce the season 7.

Thank you.

CBS backs cop corruption with lead actor
grlym-4684927 June 2023
The one thing that has plagued this show is that it tries to be really sanctimonious with a few lead characters and plots to change bad tides in cops and stereotypes, etc

....but, then they let the lewd actor lead vendettas/quasi off book investigations for friends. And then they lead the plot to vindicate the actions. Let's how buddy off on an assault by manipulating information and intimidating a suspect with corruption of his badge to make sure he did not press charges against his friend. Yes, the guy was not great, but clear cop badge abuse. This back and forth on sanctimonious and corruption is ok throughout a season is tiresome.

I hope I like the character Tam, it got a slap on the wrist for assaulting several guys in a bar while drunk. Yet, citizens get arrested in other episodes for same level issues.

SWAT falls short of a change agent that other shows seem to do better. Like "the rookie"

Consistency is key when trying to own the morale high ground, but lacking in this show. Most often by the lead swat guy. He jumps between advocate for equality and above board policing, but jumps to 70's and 80'w cop shows and movies when it suits him.
