A very average show which could've been a 10
abavikivaari30 March 2023
A girl wants to be a cricketer to prove that daughters are just as important as sons. A guy who had to abandon his dream of becoming a cricketer because of family pressure helps her out. It was the perfect recipe for a delicious dish, unfortunately, the dish is half baked with many unwanted ingredients. Why did the guy have to end up getting married to another girl? Why was a "he put sindoor in the main leads head before his wife's head" plot added in? Why did it take 100+ episodes for this track to end? Why is the mother of his wife the head of the cricket academy that Faltu has enrolled into and why is she also the woman has the power to make and break his fathers business? Is this show about cricket or about a man ditching his wife for another girl and then having to face his ex mother in law and ex wife's dumb schemes to separate him from Faltu and her dream? ITV failed yet again at a concept which could've been amazingly carried. Only two actors stand out: Rajat Verma and Aakash Ahuja, everyone else is either below average or just not important. The show really isn't worth watching as of now.

GREAT CAST/CREW, GREAT SHOW OVERALL!

I disagree with the previous review.

Faltu is a great show with a hardworking cast and crew. There's always a plot twist throughout the show which makes it super exciting. The main actress Niharika Chouksey is very young yet her work is amazing. It's impressive. We must support & cheer her on. Aakash ahuja is excellent too. He's come a long way. I am someone who truly values hard work ethic. The cast conveys such amazing work ethic & professionalism.

You almost forget that they are acting lol. Let's not forget about The Sonia Singh. Drishti Thakur's acting is out of this world along with Rajat verma. The entire cast is amazing. It also seems like the show Faltu is a great stepping stone & head start for some of the cast members which makes me appreciate it even more. I love to see upcoming new Actors/actresses get a big break. I judged & analyze the show as a whole. All of the characters have great on screen chemistry, work really well together & I have noticed some even get along great in real life. Not to speak for the Cast, but I am sure they have a great time filming together. You can see how comfortable & happy everyone is. I have been invested in the show from the very 1st episode. This is coming from someone who rarely watches tv & invests time in serials/shows nowadays.

The storyline is well portrayed & well played.

The previous review kept emphasizing how aayan left his wife to be with Faltu. It's about having the courage to live in your truth & challenge societal norms & construct. Don't judge the show harshly based off that. It is a biased opinion. I think the show has great humor too. I live in the U. S, speak English/Spanish fluently with a little Hindi & I find the show fascinating.

My advice is Keep an open mind & the show will keep you engaged. I'm excited to see what the future has in store for Faltu & Aayan Mittal's Relationship as well as her cricket career, the Mittal & Singh Family's victory.

The character development for Each centered actor/actress & the relationship development between the characters is also very impressive.

I hope the show focuses on cricket more eventually & the hurdles/obstacles slowly Decline along the storyline but overall I truly appreciate the cast/crew.

It is a Great show despite some of the so called Cliches.

There's always room for improvement on anything but It is worth the watch!

ALL THE BEST TO THE FALTU CAST & CREW!
