Shame on them for faking this science-themed show with this BS. Hypnosis does have roots in science, but this show is a work of fiction. Ivan, the guy who was "chosen" as the most susceptible person, is now an actor named "Ivan the Terrible Santiago", and even have an entry on IMDB (and it's obviously the same guy).
So, they got a bunch of contestants to see who could act hypnotized the best. Nothing else to see here... move along.
I really wanted to believe this was true, but the fact that the only guy who they say could've been susceptible couldn't also been acting was too much evidence that this show is rigged.
People have the tendency to underestimate other people and think they're dumb, and that's how this show saw it's viewers.
