- The zombies are seen to have heavily bloodied faces and mouths as they appear to eat human flesh and handle limbs and intestines.

- During a rave on a beach a couple of characters snort lines of cocaine, while others are offered brightly coloured tablets, which they swallow.
- The tablets are not identified and are later shown to turn those who have taken them into zombies.
- Near the end of the film, large packets of cocaine are seen being handled and then thrown into the air and shot at.
