Every Scene Bruno Mars was in was incredible, from his Singing Opening monologue to the heart felt Sad Mouse skit🙏 They definitely need to bring him back for Double duty! And this episode should be an encore every October!

Satutday Night Live Host: Bruno Mars
dalydj-918-25517521 October 2012
Warning: Spoilers
Presidential Town Hall: Candy Crowley is played first by new member Aidy Bryant for the second presidential debate. First question is by a movie extra asking for a job. The guys start to fight. Second question from Eugene asking about gas prices. The sketch also has more fighting including Tag Romney. Next question is from Teresa asking about cuts in many feels. Another question this time saying he will kick these two debaters ass's. We also get a cameo of Tom Hanks asking about Libia. Great opening sketch with everything just work so well. A- (MVP: Jay Pharoh)

Monologue: Bruno Mars steps from behind the Mic and steps on to the main stage. He starts saying it's his first time up here then breaking into song. During the song after some time he does some impressions. He then does the breakdown. Wasn't really a monologue as he just sang but still he sang well. B+ (MVP: Bruno Mars)

Brad Pitt for Chanel: Tarran Killam does his Pitt impression again this time making fun of that commercial that aired earlier this week. C+ (MVP: Tarran Killam)

Haters: Cecily Strong plays a talk show host with her guest being Bobby in drag as a mother who threw her daughter out of the house. As she talks to the mother the audience continue to boo. They then bring out the daughter and it's Mars in drag to. Then comes on anew guest who still gets booed by the audience. This skit was fine but a waste. B- (MVP: Bobby Moynihan)

Brad Pitt for Channel, II: This time he is just eating taco bell. B- (MVP: Tarran Killam)

Pandora Headquarters: The music channel headquarters and when the channels start to go down they bring the intern to replace green day. He sings and we do not know what he is saying. He then has to sing for Aerosmith, followed quickly by Katy Perry doing firework. Bieber is next and Louis Armstrong next. His last attempt to help is Michael Jackson songs with the glove. The intern dies in the end. OK sketch with Bruno being able to be all those singers. B (MVP: Bruno Mars)

Sad Mouse: Mars gets a new job and is in sad emotional time. We then see him in the mouse outfit really sad as no one waves at him. The music and the way this sketch is portrayed is funny with a very sweet ending (Very Louie which is great because he is hosting in two weeks). A- (MVP: Bruno Mars)

Bruno Mars - "Locked Out of Paradise": The host does what he does best at singing. Whenever Mars sings I can't help but dance and this is just another one of those examples. B+ (MVP: Bruno Mars)

Weekend Update: We start with debate talk going into "do's" and "don't" about the third debate. The first guest on the show and it's our visit of Stefon this season. We hear about some clubs and his Halloween schedule and the hottest party. We then get a horror story about a gay ghost. Short weekend update and very funny Stefan. B (MVP: Bill Hader)

The Merryville Brothers: Like always even if the power stops these robots can still work. They kill people and once again we have Tom Hanks as one of the brothers. Funny sketch. B (MVP: Vanessa Bayer)

Brad Pitt for Chanell, III: Third time and this time involving dog products. B- (MVP: Tarran Killam)

Wilderness Lodge: Acouple goes to this lodge and wants to go to Yetti point (que dramatic music). The couple do not believe these tales so the owner brings in someone who has seen the Yetti's. Roger cannot get to the point so we are told he had an unwanted sexual experience with the Yetti's. We then see one of those Yetti's in the background. B+ (MVP: Bill Hader)

Brad Pitt for Chanell, IV: This time it's about a doctor and this is the least funny of all. C (MVP: Tarran Killam)

Bruno Mars - "Young Girls": Bruno Mars does another performance and great maybe not as good as the first. B+ (MVP: Bruno Mars)

Donkey Punch The Ballot: We got some of these sketches this time with a political background because the election is coming up soon. C (MVP: Jason Sudeikis)

EPISODE GRADE: B (MVP: Bruno Mars)

Bruno Mars was Awesome and Hilarious in This Episode!

Bruno Mars is my favorite singer and I love his songs, and each scene he was in was hilarious and amazing, from when he sang about being nervous hosting the show in the opening monologue, to the "Haters with Sunny Taylor Tompkins" sketch where he dressed like a teenage girl to when he was an emotionally distraught mascot in the "Sad Mouse" sketch to his amazing live performance of some of his songs from his 2nd album 'Unorthodox Jukebox'. He's a natural born actor as well as a singer.
