Writer/director Jonell Rowe calls his new short film a “psychological/dark comedy/drama,” which may be a first for any film that I know of, or at least for a short film. Last summer I profiled a new U.K. made short film, The Third Choice, made by a then 20 year old black British filmmaker Moses Ssebandeke, and produced by his brother Isaac Ssebandeke. And now Isaac is striking out on his own, writing and directing a short film titled It Is What It is, which sounds and looks pretty intriguing. Here's the trailer for the made in the U.K. "dramedy" short film The Third Choice, made by 20 year old black British filmmaker Moses Ssebandeke, which will make its premiere on August 26th at the Southwark Playhouse in London. The film deals with three people who realize that they are in purgatory and come to the realization that they have to start making some very serious choices.
