Mickey really does a good job at working out distractions. He shows that there were several shady dealers working around the huge construction and that there is a connection to organized crime. But that doesn't break through the pieces of physical evidence, which are the hammer and the bloody gloves (sorry O. J.). So as the episode ends one of the restaurant workers recognizes a photograph where a guy is misrepresenting himself, a guy who could have committed the murder. Who had access to the scene of the crime. But he seems to have disappeared and the only thing left in the trial is Mickey's closing. Until they can get this guy, there is little that can be produced legally.
